Great service at the service department bad dealership
Tried to buy a car at the dealership this week. At the deal done on Thursday went to pick up the car on Friday and they sold the car out from underneath me. I buy a new Hyundai every 2 1/2 years and get all my service done at the dealership I buy car at. You can do the math there.

Sub par service
Made appointment and an hour later my car was still not inspected. Rescheduled to another day and staff did not communicate in a timely manner what services needed approved and when it was done so more time was wasted. When I got home I found a candy wrapper in my engine bay. Lack of professionalism is a surprise since I have had great service here before.

After manager call back.
After my initial review the service manager called me and listened to my concerns. He truly wanted the make my experience better and he asked me to give them another chance in the future, which I will. He assured me that the lack of communication is not the norm at their service department. Jason was great, but I cannot score them higher than a 4 due to the need for Jason to intervene. I am appreciative of him responding to me in less than an hour of me completing the survey.

Poor Service Dept communication
I dropped my car off Wednesday night for service on a Thursday. I was called on that Thursday stating they found the problem and ordered the part and it would be done on Friday. I was called Friday and inform the part never made it to the dealership and it would be done Monday. Monday came and went I never heard anything from the dealership until the following Thursday when I was told it was finally complete. when I questioned why it took so long and why they didn't contact me I didn't get much of an answer other than it is not a common part that needs replaced. I was never offered anything for my inconvenience. I was never offered a loaner car due to the fact that the dealership was going to have my car for an entire week for a small repair. I feel as if I should be compensated in some way for the service department's lack of communication and the time that they had my car and I was inconvenience with not having my vehicle.

Used Hyundai purchase.
My wife decided to be a very lightly used car rather than lease again. As her leased car had some damage, I stopped in to see how much she would be assessed for the damage. Not much, a couple hundred $. So, on a spur of the moment thing, I decided to look at their used Hyundai’s and ended up buying a very nice Veloster. So, next day, we turned in the leased car, which had a couple of months left on the lease and drove off in her new car. The entire process was smooth and friendly. HOWEVER, not long after, we received a bill from Hyundai for some $600. Reason? We still owed the last two payments on her leased car. OK, my fault, I should have been aware of the lease’s language but I also think it would have been nice if the salesperson would have mentioned this little fact to me. Frankly, I would have been more than happy to put 2k down on the Veloster and then pick it up when my wife’s lease expired. So, maybe we’re done with Hyundai’s and would I recommend Terry Lee to a friend? Probably, but with some caveats.

Don't buy a Hyundai and don't buy anything from Terry Lee. Hyundai will not stand by their product and do the right thing and the dealership will be of no help resolving your issues.

Service Manager Solves Customer Issues!
We were in dispute with the service department regarding our pre-paid oil changes and tire rotations on our purchased Hyundai. After raising the issue, the service manager reached out (to us) and resolved the issue with a simple solution that demonstrated customer-driven attitude and action.

Beware - they will take your money for pre-paid oil changes and not honor the service in the future!
We paid Terry Lee Hyundai in the purchase of our 2018 Hyundai Sante Fe $400 for 50,000 miles of oil changes or 10 during the warranty period. We paid for these oil changes in advance and rolled them into the vehicle payment on 01/17/2018.

In December of 2018 our Hyundai was totaled and we purchased a new 2019 Hyundai Sante Fe from a different local dealer as Terry Lee Hyundai would not match or better another deal in town. We did not purchase oil changes in advance with the other dealer as we still had plenty oil changes pre-paid at Terry Lee Hyundai dealership.

Two weeks ago, my wife took our new 2019 Hyundai Sante fe into Terry Lee Hyundai for its first oil change and the dealership told us that they could no longer offer us the oil changes that we pre-paid as it was tied to a different VIN. Really?

We would either like the remainder of our $400 returned or the remainder of our oil changes. This is unethical and absurd treatment of customers and their money. Did I mention that we prepaid for these oil changes? ;-0 So Terry Lee Hyundai gets their money for all future oil changes but then when we the customer comes in to collect on the oil changes we are told we cannot have the oil changes that we paid for?

Buyer-beware of Terry Lee Hyundai!

Not so great since i have to spend $900.00 on a card i have had for just shy of 3 months
I really have nothing else to say but I wish I had went to someone else. Not happy that I have to spend $900.00 on a Radio & TPS Sensor after only having the vehicle for 3 months and was promised it would be take care of by Juan---I am not happy at all.

Stay Away
I feel like I was taken advantage of because of my lack of knowledge of cars. I went in for an oil change and a new tire I walked out with much more being done. I was told that my car was unsafe to drive because of bad tires and brakes. I fully understood needing new tires but my new brakes seem just the same as my old ones. The prices at this dealership are also ridiculously high and o wouldn’t have taken it there if there weren’t a recall on my car.

Don’t be in a hurry!!
With an indication that there was only one car ahead of mine for an oil change I expected about a 30 minute wait! Over 3 hours later I left very saddened by the poor customer service.

Work done is good, that’s about it
Took my leased vehicle into Terry Lee for an oil change and a sensor going off for my front left tire. Staff was friendly and efficient, had a dealership car on hand for me. Kudos, but that’s the only good thing besides the quality of work done. I was told of a service that could be done, but is optional, to the engine. I told the rep. That I had a lease car and wasn’t interested unless it was absolutely needed for the health of the car, no cost was ever talked about. He told me it hadn’t been done yet, and it wasn’t really needed so I told him no to that, just the simple oil change and checking tires and sensors. When I arrived later to pick up my car, he told me the visit would be $160 plus for the visit, I asked how was that possible when it’s an oil change and a warrantied part check. He said with the maintenance on the engine and oil change it came to $160 plus. I told him I never gave the go ahead on doing it and that had I known the price I would’ve never allowed the service to be done. He told me I’d have to pay for that service, but took care of the oil change for free. Didn’t resolve the issue. Made me as a customer never want to return to Terry Lee for basic services like an oil change, the representative acted surprised that he was called out for approving work to be done without approval from the customer. I recommend that all reps be trained better and for management to stress approval, possibly get signatures to approve work. I will not recommend Terry Lee to any of my friends.

Half Ass Oil Changes
Drove up into the garage without a hi, hello nothing. Girl just gave me a clipboard to sign. Had my oil changed. Man came in said I needed a 15000 Service. I think he thought I was going to say no but instead I said yes. He looked kind of bothered/annoyed that he had to go back and tell the mechanic. Mechanic overfilled my antifreeze. Was leaking antifreeze overnight through the next day. I lifted my hood and there was antifreeze all over the inside. My car is only a year old & I have proudly taken great care of it thus far. I returned the following day to the same girl who once again didn’t seem happy to help me. She tried to convince me that it was condensation from my air conditioning. I assured her it wasn’t but she insisted. I explained to her that condensation evaporated after awhile but the fluid I was leaking was still on my driveway. Another man came out and took over the conversation & told me they would take a look & make it right. They took it back & looked at it and I could see one of the guys shaking his head like he couldn’t believe what he saw. They cleaned up the mess under the car but forgot to clean under the hood! When they finished they drove it back up front & didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience! Instead, all the girl said was “you’re good, no charge for today”.

These people need to understand how important their jobs are. People are driving their families around in these vehicles. Treat us and our vehicles as if your own family were in them. Also, $50 for an oil change is way too high for the type of service I received. I won’t be coming back.
