Bluntly, I have no intention of returning to this place again, ever.
Several things went wrong...maybe it was my fault, though I have no clue how. The estimate (replacing a battery that was still under warranty) way was off from the actual invoice - not a major problem with me because mistakes happen... Besides, that issue was somewhat mitigated. It was the fact that I literally stood around for approximately one hour, after returning at the appointed time waiting, for the work to be finished, only to find the battery had had already been replaced. Thus, please refer to "Review Title" above.

Spoke with Sandra. She said the business did not do what they charged them for. Her son had gone in for some work and an oil change. They serviced the vehicle and called with the price. When he picked it up, the invoice showed a different cost. They also had charged for an oil change, but when he checked it, there was almost no oil in the tank at all. She stated she will not go back to the facility again.

Poor communication and unskilled labor.
I went to have my car aligned at this store on a Thursday and the lady at the counter said it should be done later that day and that they would give me a call. I never heard anything on Thursday. On Friday afternoon I got a call at about 1PM letting me know the car was done. I go and pick it up only to find that the steering wheel was 45 degrees off when the car would drive straight. They also said they don't have any printouts with the alignment specs even though that is an industry standard for decades. This tells me that whoever did the work didn't even bother to check if it was done correctly and the fact that I didn't get a printed readout was very sketchy to me. I talked to the same lady again and she says to bring it back the next day. Sat I drop the car off again so they can hopefully fix a simple mistake, turns out I made the mistake by going back. On Sat they just didn't do the work and when I went to find out why they basically said the tech couldn't do an alignment. What??? They why was I instructed to bring it back and why did the same guy even touch the car in the first place if he doesn't know what he was doing?

At that point I was done. I told them I want my car and my money back. The cashier called the owner and the owner said he would be able to fix it himself and that if I came back Tuesday he get it taken care of. Now remember my initial visit was Thur now they want me to wait almost a week for an alignment, no thanks. I again stated I want my money back and the owner told me he could give me 25.00 of the 90.00 dollars back because his guy has time into the car. I let him know that I also have time into the car by having to stop by his shop every day just to get a simple task accomplished. After going back and forth they finally gave me my money since the car still wasn't correct.

I ended up taking it to another shop who had it aligned with in 2 hours and had called me to let me know. The steering wheel was straight and the car drove perfectly. My other suspicion was confirmed when I got the printed read out from the new shop. The old shop kinda aligned the car but it wasn't very close to the factory specs.

I have 4 vehicles and a large propane tank that I get filled up at this gas station all the time. I like doing business with them in that regard but when it comes to auto repair I will never go back.

Rene said she will not be going back to this business. She was quoted $33 for an oil change. At the completion of the service, she was charged $63. Her vehicle is 14 years old and no one has ever told her that her vehicle requires synthetic oil. They did not check her fluid levels even after she had requested them to do so.

Paul said they were supposed to replace the rear bearings. They forgot to check the brakes so as he was driving out and tried to brake, they basically fell to the floor and he rolled out onto the street. Another issue was that they left the interior of his vehicle absolutely filthy. It seems they did not place any mats in it as they worked and as a result everything got really greasy. He had to get it detailed and soaped. He would not recommend this business for service because of the treatment he received from them.

Oil Change
I had an Oil change with you in January, 2016, I discovered in late January. , early February, oil was leaking from my car. I observed
this spot under my car thinking it was water. When I have an oil change, I Trust the Scottsdale Mobil Station where I had my car
worked on and oil change many times, would not have allowed oil to leak from the area of the oil change. In February I stopped in
to your station, Eric checked the oil and my oil was low enough to have Eric put a quart of oil in my Car. I could see oil leak from the same place. I came to Scottsdale Mobile again a few days after Eric checked and replace oil and questioned Eric. I also asked
for the owner/ Manager of the station , Eric agreed to speak with Don the Owner. I did not hear from Don after leaving a message for Don to call me. Don did not call, I went back in and spoke with Don, registering a complaint with Don, asked why I wasn't called
back? His lady friend was in the Hospital. I told Don about the oil change incident, and he agreed to re change oil, and have the seal emplaced properly. I went back the next day for the 5th time, Eric had delegated someone in his shop to take care of my car.
I was there only 5 minutes when the mechanic assigned to re change the oil, he is bringing my car back saying, he completed my
car. I asked the Mechanic if he had changed the oil, being authorized by Eric, mechanic said I wasn't told to re change the oil. SO
he took my car again and performed another oil change and emplaced the seal necessary to keep the oil from leaking. I was appreciative that Don gave Eric instructions to have the oil re changed, however, it was not done until I asked mechanic if he had re changed my oil, he said no. Eric came by and instructed mechanic to change oil. New job was complete, I asked for paper work denoting new oil change for the record. Paper work had not been complete. Eric was typing document to identify that oil had
been changed. Very little was said on repair order, Eric did not make note of type of oil used in my car on the second oil change and for that matter the first oil change, mechanic did not list the type of oil used in my car. I know specifically my 2002 requires a
certain grade of oil. Grade or type of oil was not listed on the repair order 2 times, no recording of type or brand of oil used. I find that very inefficient. Every repair order I have, oil amount and grade were listed,. SO I find oil change 2 times was in complete according to repair order. I am feeling very insecure with your Stations work on a very simple oil change. The first oil change repair order had not listing of any work needed on my Car. Now that this hassle occurred, there was a comment on the 2nd work order of a noise in my car which I have never heard. I feel it is very presumptuous that on the recent order a bearing for right belt pully was listed, at this time there is no noise in my car. I am very dubious of this oil change 2 time, having to come to your station
6 times to get this error on a simple oil change fixed. Presently I am very leery of your work and am planning to take my car to a
shop that has worked and performed oil changes on my car before this incident. Donnie who worked at this station for many years did many oil changes and mechanical work on my car and it was perfect. Donnie was honest and efficient with all the repair
jobs performed on my car. I will never come back to you shop for oil changes or any repair work, because inefficiency, Owner Don
did not return my call 3 times to inquire about my last problem. Eric informed me that Don, Owner was notified of my present complaint, type of oil not listed on repair order, not sure type of oil used. Wrong oil used could damage my engine and or car.
Very disappointed. I had several neighbors interests in having work done at your station. I will not refer them, per my issue.

Peter said the service was not good because the battery was only six months old. He was not the original owner and they would not honor the warranty, so he had to pay $200 for a replacement battery. He would not recommend the business to others over the policy not being a good policy.

Not Impressed
I took my car to the garage for replacement of struts, stabilizer bars, oil change and new headlights. Made an appointment for Sat. to have the work done. My car was at the garage from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. I picked up the car and assumed all the work was completed. After getting home, I realized the headlights were not replaced. Took car back to the garage and spoke with Gregg, mgr. re: headlights. Gregg requested that I leave the car and job would be completed. I was upset since they had the car all day on Sat. and did not complete the job. I left the car at the garage for the afternoon. Upon pick up of my car, Gregg informed me the oil change was not done on the Sat. they had my car but the oil change was completed the 2nd time. In summary, visit #1 - new struts and stablizer bars, Visit #2- oil change, new headlights. This should have all been done on the Sat. that I left them my car.

Oil Change and Two new Tires
Poor communications. The quoted price for the Two tires was NOT what I was charged. Slow response and short staff lead to a 2-day delay in getting our car back. And the Low Tire Pressure Monitor on the Front left still needs to be replaced.
Another poor experience with our Neighborhood Service Center.

Conner said the business told him if he gets his vehicle in first thing in the morning, they would be finished with it later that same day. He took it in as told and left. When he called later that day to pick it up, they had not started and told him to call back again. They did not have it fixed until the next day and he had to wait another 20 minutes to pay and receive his vehicle.

Erick said the staff changed the battery out for free. The mechanic was great, but the person answering phones lacked customer service, because he gave vague answers. He suggested that they should improve the communication between the mechanics and management to get things done more efficiently.

Don said this business was not able to repair his vehicle. He said he wasted 3 hours so they could inform him that his vehicle would cost over $2,0000.00 to repair. This business did provide excellent customer service. He found it disconcerting, however, that he had to speak with 3 people to get a true answer. He first spoke with a front desk employee, a salesperson, and then finally the mechanic, to get his answer.
