Mila said when she had taken her vehicle in to the facility, she asked the staff to check her air shocks. She stated whomever checked them thought it would be funny to fill them all the way up .Other than that, the rest of the service was perfectly fine. Mike is a very good person. She said the business is a good place. She takes her vehicle there, because she trusts it. This was the first problem she has had with it. She knows Mike didn't do it. She said some of the air needs to be let out.

"The water pump "
I will start by saying, as usual, everyone on staff was polite, courteous and friendly. I have been coming here for years, so I am sorry to say I was disheartened by my last visit. When the gal called to tell me that my Buick was going to need a new water pump and it was going to cost $557.00 to fix. I was taken aback. I looked up what a new water pump and part accessories would cost and it was about $50. (at most) It seems 507 is a bit much for labor. I called around and with out much trouble found another auto shop who would fix it for $230, will all the same warranties. I truly do not understand how there can be such a huge price difference. And sadly makes me question the work I had done on that same car just a month ago that totaled $480. I have never questioned what you have said was wrong with my car or what it would cost to fix it. But this experience has left me uneasy. Im not saying that I will not come back, but I will compare the pricing when it seems questionable. I am certainly open to any explanation to what happened. I respect Mike as a mechanic and Debbie as a business women, but something was diffidently amiss this time.

"Disappointed"
I brought my car in because it was pulling to the right and was concerned it needed an alignment. I was told that the problem was with a tire and that they rotated them. I asked about the steering linkage and tie rods etc. and was told they were fine. However, I was told that I would need a second appointment to actually do the alignment, so I made the appointment and they did another inspection. All of a sudden, (only a day or two after the first inspection) I needed a host of front end work to the tune of $850! I asked why this wasn't discovered during the first inspection and was told it was missed by the technician! How can a certified technician miss that much? Needless to say I was extremely angry. I have been bringing my cars to Your Complete Auto Repair Service for years. I don't know what has changed, but their service acumen and abilities have obviously slipped a great deal! The service has gone down hill the last couple of times I have gone there to the point I doubt I will be back.

"So so..."
Got right in which was great, however got charged for parts when I brought my own in. Was told it was for "lube" I had a sensor that just needed to be plugged in. Left and got 1/2 back to work noticing the check engine light still on. Called back yet again and was told to turn the key a few times it will take care of it. Or bring my car back again tomorrow to reset it and check to see if it was really the sensor I had replaced causing the light to be on....

Spoke with Ralph's wife. She said she called this business and told them what was going in with her vehicle. They knew what she was talking about and told her to bring it in. She brought it to them and within 2 hours had her vehicle back. Right now it is very mandatory that she has her vehicle because of an incident she endured 3 days ago. She stressed it is nice to know her vehicle is back.

"Honest, fast"
I've been coming to CARS for as long as I've owned a car and have never been steered wrong. The guys are very helpful and informative, and have never tried to take advantage of an innocent girl who doesn't know much about cars. That part means a great deal to me. I'll continue to give them and no one else my business as long as I'm in Lapeer!
