Demetrice said she dropped the vehicle off on Wednesday but they did not get to it until Friday and she plans to take it back because it sounds like she's driving a motorcycle, so something is not working properly. She said she has been using them for a long time and has not found anybody else that she likes but they're charging her more than the service is worth so she would not recommend them.

Demetrice, im sorry you are upset i took a few days to repair your car. Unfortantly the part was not in town and had to be ordered. And also that the car is now a little louder since we replaced the plugged up convertor. I am happy you did bring it back and have us double check that for you, and thankfully it turns out it was just more exhuast noise than before now that the convertor can flow corretly. thank you for the review.   Scott

Best Service in Town
Like always, Scott got me right in and taken care of. Brake job, new tires, alignment, and an oil change. Scott - Really like your reccomended tires. They drive real nice! Thanks for always doing a masterful job at a reasonable price.

High Grossing customers won’t get repeat bus.
No signs in your office state your minimum diagnostic fee. So refused to pay it. Also I was quoted $500 for a repair that took less than $90 for the part and 5 min to replace in the auto zone parking lot. Whatever happened to good ole customer service?

STEVE IM SORRY THE DIAGNOSTIC CHARGE WASNT EXPLAINED TO YOU, HOWEVER ROBERT DID NOT CHARGE YOU. WE HAVE INVESTED ALOT OF MONEY IN EQUIPMENT AND TRAINING TO BE ACCURATE WITH THE DIAGNOSTIC. WE DO CHARGE FOR THAT. HOWEVER THE CUSTOMER SERVICE COMMENT I DONT UNDERSTAND AS MY EMPLOYEE DECIDED HE WOULDNT CHARGE YOU AS HE HADNT EXPLAINED THE CHARGE AS HE WAS TRYING TO GET YOU IN ON A WALK IN BASIS WHILE YOU WAITED ON THE CAR. I CAN SAY I DO NOT BUY PARTS FROM AUTOZONE AS THEY ARE MADE IN CHINA AND AUTOZONE IS THE WALMART OF AUTO PARTS, STEVE WE BUY FROM OUR LOCAL VENDERS AND THEY CANT AFFORD TO BUY PARTS THAT ARE SO CHEAPLY MADE BECAUSE THE LOCAL REPAIR SHOPS WILL STOP BUYING FROM THEM, YOUR EST FOR THE REPAIR WAS 332.00 THE DIAG NOSTIC WAS 129 WHICH WOULD HAVE COULD HAVE BEEN WAIVED IF YOU CHOSE TO REPAIR THE CAR THAT DAY. THE A/C DELCO MODULE IS 220.00 AND IS A GOOD OEM QUILITY PART THE LABOR TO INSTALL AND RESETT ALL CODES AND RESET THE MEMORY SO THE VEHICLE WILL RUN AT ITS BEST IS 125.00 I HAVE ALWAYS TAKEN GOOD CARE OF YOUR CARS. WE DO CARE ABOUT YOU OPION BUT I CANT BRING MYSELF NOT TO SUPPORT LOCAL BUSSINESS AND I WONT BUY CHEAP CHINA PARTS. I WILL TAKE CARE OF MY CUSTOMERS AND ALWAY TREAT THEM RESPECT. I AM GLAD WE DID A PROPER DIAG AND YOU WHERE ABLE TO REAPIR YOUR CAR IN THE PARKING LOT OF AUTOZONE. Repwated problems.
I've taken my car in three times for the same problem. My TPMS has been worked on three times already. And three times its gone out. The light is back on now but I won't be bringing it in for a fourth times. I'll take it somewhere else.

I shouldn't have to had paid twice to have the same thing done that should have been done in the first place. I won't be coming back to you shop again.

2nd visit
I had to take my car back for a 2nd time for a problem I felt should have been fixed properly the first visit. Same problem....another charge. I was not satisfied.

J.J. said he has used this business for all kinds of repairs on different vehicles over the years and this last repair they did for him was terrible. They were supposed to fix the howling and vibration coming from the rear end of his vehicle. Originally the repairs were going to cost $200 but he ended up paying $1,000 for repairs that didn't even fix his vehicle. He called them the day after he got his vehicle back to tell them nothing was fixed and they told him to bring it back in to have them look at it but he cannot afford anymore after what he just paid. He is thinking about going to see them in person to see if they can work something out and if they don't, he will be very disappointed.

Doesn't deliver promised price or delivery times
quoted a price for 2 new tires mounted & ballanced. dropped off rims at &:00AM and was told they would be ready at noon. showed up at noon and they were just starting to balance the tires. when I went to pay for them I was told they had "upgraded the tires to better ones for $6 more each (slightly higher load rating). After loading them in the car, I noticed they were bias ply tires instead of radial (as quoted). Left them there and was told they would be ready at 5:00pm for pick-up. Returned at 5:15 and rims were sitting on the floor without tires. Had to wait another 15 minutes. When looking at the tires, they did NOT have any higher load rating but I was late and left. Not happy with the upcharge or always being late for the promised time.

Horrible!!
Took my truck here for a bad fuel pump. That replaced it and it lasted about 8 months. They would not warranty the part I later found out was used, and put a new pump on again for another $800. This one lasted about 3 months before I was again stranded. This time they put on another fuel pump for free....this one lasted about 2 weeks....I took it somewhere else and a guy whom actually knew what he was doing told me they were not replacing a wiring harness / module causing the pump to short out. Don't seem to know what they are doing.

WE ARE CURIOUS AS TO WHY YOUR OTHER SHOP WOULD REPLACE THE FUEL PUMP IF ONLY THE WIRING HARNESS WAS THE CURRENT CAUSE OF THE TRUCK NOT RUNNING, THE HARNESS WAS CHECKED EVERYTIME WE REPLACED YOUR FUEL PUMP. ALSO, WE LIKE TO WORK OFF OF  FACTS. THE FIRST TIME YOUR TRUCK WAS IN OUR SHOP WAS 11/13/10 AND YOU RETURNED ON 04/09/12 NOT THE EIGHT MONTHS AS YOU'VE LISTED. IT WAS OVER THE MANUFACTURERS TWELVE MONTH WARRANTY; AND WHEN THE PART FAILED ON 09/18/12 WE DID IN FACT REPLACE AT NO COST TO YOU. WE CAN UNDERSTAND YOUR FRUSTRATION WITH THIS PROBLEM AND WE ARE NOT PERFECT EITHER; AND WE COULD HAVE MISSED YOUR PROBLEM. WE DO HOWEVER WONDER HOW YOUR TRUCK COULD GO ANOTHER TWO WEEKS IF THE WIRING HARNESS WAS BAD OR SHORTING OUT? I DO KNOW WE WOULD HAVE LOOKED AT YOUR TRUCK FOR FREE IF YOU WOULD HAVE CONTACTED US WITH YOUR ISSUE. AGAIN WE ARE SORRY FOR THE BAD EXPERIENCE YOU HAD WITH US. APPARENTLY DO NOT WANT MY BUISNESS
TOOK OUR SONS 91 CUTLASS SUPREME IN BECAUSE IT WAS DYING ON US , SCOTT HAD IT CHECKED , THEY DIAGNOSED AS AN EGR VALVE. THEY REPAIRED AND SCOTT SAID IT WAS STILL MISSING A LITTLE , BUT WAS NOT DYING ANYMORE.
WE PICKED IT UP AND WITHIN 2 DAYS IT WAS DYING AGAIN. I CALLED AFTER THE WEEKEND AND SCOTT WAS OUT FOR THE NEXT 2 DAYS , BUT THE GENTLEMAN THAT ANSWERED THE PHONE WAS VERY RUDE AND ARROGANT. I TOLD HIM WE NEEDED IT LOOKED AT AGAIN BECAUSE IT WAS DOING THE SAME THING WE BROUGHT IT IN FOR. HE SAID WE COULD DROP IT OFF, I ASK HIM WHEN HE COULD POSSIBLY LOOK AT IT . AND HIS EXACT WORDS WERE " I WILL GET TO IT WHEN I GET TO IT " WE HAVE BEEN DOING BUISNESS THERE FOR 4 YEARS BUT APPARENTLY THEY DO NOT WANT OUR BUSINESS ANYMORE. BY THE WAY I ALSO TRIED TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT THROUGH THEIR WEBSITE AND NEVER RECEIVED A CALL OR E-MAIL BACK

New tire
As K drove off After replacing a damaged tire with a new one I heard rattling. I checked my trunk and found my spare had not been properly stowed away not had my jack or the tools used to change a tire. An incomplete job, inconvenient for me to find someone else to do it and a training opportunity for the young man who worked on my car. I know you can do better than this.

Engine light came back on right away
My daughter, who lives in KC, was in Wichita for Thanksgiving. Her engine light came on late Saturday afternoon and we took the car to Auto Smart to see why it was on. Frank said some kind of filter sensor was starting to go out and the air filter was dirty. My daughter decided to have the work done so she wouldn't have any trouble on her drive home Sunday. As soon as she started driving home she said the engine light came back on. She won't be back in Wichita anytime soon, so she can't just take the car back to have Auto Smart look at it again.
