Car repair
Poor service , the Manager Mike is a scam artist, he charges these outrageous prices to fix your vehicle, and he lies about the repair and prices. I will never do business with Auto City, do not recommend their services.

Tommy said he was unhappy with the service at the business. He had to return to the business because they did not do a good job. They unhooked some items on his vehicle and did not hook it back up, they did not replace the gasket, and had caused something else to go wrong as well.

The owner mike, stole my catalytic converter
Do not take your vehicles to this place, the owner is a dishonest thief, and a liar to boot!
He ordered one of his mechanics to take my catalytic converter and replace with a straight pipe, when i questioned him about it he acted like he didnt know what i was talking about!

Henry said he brought his vehicle in for an inspection about his gasket. They estimated $376 for the gasket that needed to be replaced. Upon repairing the gasket they noticed a crack in the manifold which needed to be taken out to get to the gasket. They told him it would end up being a $1300 repair. He asked if they could put it back together so he can take his vehicle home. They told him they were unable to do so. He had to take out a loan to repair the vehicle, which was an inconvenience for him

Cortez said the staff did not fix his vehicle because he still has the same problem, even though he spent a lot of money there. He had to keep bringing his vehicle back there, because it was still leaking. Cortez said the transmission lines were never changed, which is the reason it's still leaking, and he will never be going back there.

Evelyn said her vehicle sat at this business for over 6 hours to get an alignment. When she drove it her vehicle was still pulling to the right. She called them the next morning saying her vehicle was still pulling to the right and they told her to bring it back in. She took her vehicle back and they told her it would be a 3 hour wait to get her vehicle in. The staff told her they would call her when it was her turn to get her vehicle in. They never called her back. She would not recommend them.

Heather said the 36 month financial plan she asked for turned into a 12 month plan and she did not appreciate that. She did not notice this until after she left the business. She contacted Betsy and she was not able to help her. The employee who helped her, Mike, was nice but his hands were tied. She stated she felt they ripped off and she will never go to this business again.

Poor service
I took my vehicle in for new brakes and had to take it back 3 times due to brakes continuous squeaking. I then took the vehicle back because the brake lights on the dash console would not go off. Work was completed and 60 days later they were back on. I took my vehicle back again (8:30 AM) and it was never services. They were focus on customers with new problems. At 5:15 PM I asked for my keys. I will be filing a complaint with the State of Michigan.

Horrible
Mike at the service desk is unprofessional dishonest . However, the mechanic was awesome..I am going to reach out to the owner because I spent thousands of dollars and the problem has not been addressesd.

Gave me my car back but car turned off on me tried recommending fuel injectors but fuel injectors don't get clogged then unclogged

Latonya said she took her vehicle to the business because the overdrive light was on and it was stuck in third gear. They put the vehicle on the machine and told her it needed a new transmission. She purchased a used transmission and after they installed it, it was still doing the same thing. She does not understand how it could be stuck in third gear just like the other one was. She paid them $900 and they told her there was nothing else they could do. The service advisor was very inconsiderate and unprofessional.

Rob said he went to the business to have his brakes done. He was charged $600 for new rotors, calipers and brake pads. After he left, he could hear a scraping noise so he went back to them. They told him one of the spindles was bent, so they straightened it and put it back on. Shortly after, he was washing the vehicle when he noticed there was quite a bit rust on the calipers which should not have been there because they were new. He took the vehicle to a different facility and had them check the brakes. He was told by that business neither the rotors or calipers were new. He had that visit documented and the calipers along with the rotors photographed. He was charged $600 for brake pads because the calipers and rotors were the old ones they said they had replaced.
