The handling of the billing was not up to expectations. The bill reflects a charge of a front wheel alignment. I called because the car is an all wheel drive and asked why all were not done. The response from the person on the phone was we did not even do a wheel alignment. I asked then why was I charged. The response was they will get back to us tomorrow.

"No respect for my time"
Although Jay's does decent work, they absolutely have no respect for my time. I took my car in for an oil change. I made an appointment. What should have been a 20 minute procedure took 1.5 hours. I could have been doing other things with my time rather than waiting for my car. I assumed that with an appointment my car would have been serviced as soon as I took it in. There's something seriously wrong with the way this place is managed. Either they are incredibly inefficient, they are overbooked, or they just don't care about my business. Either way, I plan to find an alternative next time I need my car serviced.

Frank said even though he had an appointment, he had to wait an hour and a half before they started working on his vehicle. He discovered when he got home that they didn't check the fluids. His radiator fluid container was empty and their prices are high.

"Who wants to spend time and money at an auto repair shop?"
Well believe it or not I do! I have been going to Jay's Auto for many years. I am always greeted by friendly happy competent pros that take pride in their work. The waiting area is clean and comfortable. The work is done carefully and efficiently. The prices are fair and competitive. They often give helpful suggestions and when possible they provide options to help guide your decisions. If necessary they bring their certified mechanics out to you, to describe and explain their diagnosis. I especially appreciate their maintenance record system and preventative service recommendations. They help me budget for my vehicles future needs. You will notice that many police, ambulance and other safety services use their shop. That tells me plenty as if the numerous awards hanging on their walls weren't enough to convince you. They are active in the community and the owner treats everyone with dignity, including his employees. In short they can be trusted and I really do enjoy working with them.

"Pros who really care about their customers"
I have serviced many cars at Jay's Auto in Eaton. I, just like everyone else , know how difficult it is to find a reputable auto servicing company. Well after years of working with these people, I can honestly say this company can be trusted. From the owner to the service desk to the mechanics, these people are fair, honest and trustworthy. I am blessed to have a safe reliable place where I can be sure these pros who help me solve all my automotive needs in a reliable and timely manner. Thanks to the team at Jay's Automotive once again.
