You are not the only dealership in town. Will never buy another car from Tonkin period.
David, we are always appreciative of any kind of feedback. We want to make sure we are always creating a 5 star experience for our customers. Is there anything we could have done differently or can work on doing differently for next time?
I also pay some extra insurance included in the monthly payment, so the car can be covered for the first 75,000.
That's extremely disappointing, especially when my motivation buying a new car was to save myself from dealing with car mechanics and extra expenses that an old car usually has. I don't think that changing oil should be $50, and checking your fluids and tires another $54. Just to find out they are ok , since the car has only 10, 000 miles... and driven with care only in the city.
Next time I am going to Jessie Lube for that service.

The person checking me in was really helpful and nice. We were able to use a coupon from another place and he willingly matched the price to save me some money. The work was completed quickly and everything seemed to be fine.
I have a cabin air filter that has never needs to be replaced. I periodically clean it out per the manufacturers recommendations and it was cleaned out within 2 weeks of this visit to this dealership. There were no major air quality events and thus it it still in perfect working order. One of the recommended actions that the dealership wanted me to take was to replace that filter because it was due for it at a cost of 40+ dollars to do so. I asked the person who was going over this with me how that could be since it was recently cleaned out and he shrugged his shoulders and mentioned that he's just reading the paperwork. Curious as to whether they actually looked at the filter I went out to my car and checked. My glove box, which resides in front of that filter, was untouched. It is my opinion that they never looked at that filter.
So be aware of things like this and keep records of what you do and when. The filter I bought will last a lifetime and cost $50. If I would have not been paying attention they would have thrown that one out, replaced it with one that I would have to replace the next time I go in.
