Sydney said they were kind and polite. The staff gave his wife a ride to and from the business. He was surprised they charged him $136 to give him a quote for a service that he wasn't there for. He actually received 2 different quotes, for 2 different things. One, he did not ask for. He stated he didn't think they needed to take apart the exhaust system to find the noise, and he was thinking he won't ever use the place again. It was really expensive. He said maybe this visit was just a fluke.

We are sorry you feel like you didn't get your moneys worth. It should be noted that your noise was isolated to the exhaust manifold area which is coved by heat shields that would need to be removed in order to isolate exactly where it was coming from. Even gettng to the point where we could isolate it as far as we did required removal of the upper body brace, lifting of the vehicle and two techs (one to get noise to occur and the other to listen with a shethoscope). The estimate you were given was based on what we expected to find when shields were removed and was a worst case scenario. This was explained to the person that picked up the vehicle. As far as the estimate you didn't ask for, we consider our duty to let people know of issues we observe while inspecting their vehicle to avoid future more expensive repairs. I apologize if you did not want to know about these things.

Quick and Kind
I have an older Subaru that I normally do the majority of repairs on myself or with my father's help, but we were stumped on where the power steering fluid kept vanishing off to since we couldn't find any leaks or puddles. I scheduled an appointment with Panacea to get diagnostics and figure out just what was up, and not only was everyone very kind and professional, they treated my aged but well loved car with respect and didn't pressure me into scheduling or agreeing to anything I wasn't ready for. It was even all within 3 hours of me dropping off my Subaru on a day they had mentioned was uncommonly busy, and they still managed to get everything checked out and back to me before I had to get to work. Now I can plan for future repairs and costs and don't have to panic when a weird noise catches me off guard again. 10/10, most certainly will come back to again.

As always, Panacea staff is the absolute best!! The staff is always considerate and explains what is needed and the cost clearly. I will go nowhere else to have my car serviced or repaired and I will always recommend Panacea!

Fuse fixed in (almost) no time.
I had some tail lights that would not work. I knew a blown fuse was a possibility but did not know exactly where the fuse panel was, and time was short. I called Panacea to see if they could fit me in and they did. They found and fixed the problem right away for only a nominal charge. Well worth it.
I don't think Steve was even there a the time, so Kudos to his staff on this one!
Yes I would recommend this shop to others. The car repaired this time lives in Seattle (it's my son's) but frequently gets serviced at Panacea because of their excellent service.
