Did this shop was the only shop that would give me a reasonable estimate estimate and had time to tak
e me take me I thought my Duramax water pump was out.
I had replaced that thermostat housing and there wasn't owing that that I thought that old one was fine but it started leaking right after I replaced the housing .
I am giving them a good rating for one reason they could have easily charged me and replaced my water pump but it did not need replacing they were honest and told me it's not leaking from your water pump so if I had taken the time to put the opening and I would have saved myself the myself $800
But they had the tools to pressure test my whole cooling system and tell me the truth so for that I will say they are a good shop.
The mechanic did hang up on me once.,,,,,
when I had asked him if he used the "bleed screw"
to bleed the air out of the system after finishing
As it said low coolant after driving a few miles.
Their mechanic wasn't aware there was one( it's located on top the thermostat housing)
Well, me a woman telling him the fact,
" click" went phone, he hung up.
That's the only reason I lowered their rating to 4 start.
But it's OKI,
I bled the air out myself of the cooling system lines, on my Duramax.👍😇

Once again, this is my "go to place"! Over the last year, I have many things done on my 1999 for 4Run
ner. The staff is excellent! If you want to feel like the only person that matters, you must try Ayres. Being said, you might want to be willing to set up appointment in advance as their popularity show's when you pull up to the shop. Always working hard and always busy, however worth the wait for an appointment.

I had a truck whose back up lights that did not work after having a cover put over the bed. They had
it fixed in a day. Person who put the cover on had pinched some of the wires. Previously had a Jeep whose engine light kept coming on. Went to two other garages and the second one referred me to Monkey Wrench. A difficult fix but Monkey Wrench got it done. Wish I could give them higher than a 5. Most honest people ever.
