Did this shop was the only shop that would give me a reasonable estimate estimate and had time to tak
e me take me I thought my Duramax water pump was out.
I had replaced that thermostat housing and there wasn't owing that that I thought that old one was fine but it started leaking right after I replaced the housing .
I am giving them a good rating for one reason they could have easily charged me and replaced my water pump but it did not need replacing they were honest and told me it's not leaking from your water pump so if I had taken the time to put the opening and I would have saved myself the myself $800
But they had the tools to pressure test my whole cooling system and tell me the truth so for that I will say they are a good shop.
The mechanic did hang up on me once.,,,,,
when I had asked him if he used the "bleed screw"
to bleed the air out of the system after finishing
As it said low coolant after driving a few miles.
Their mechanic wasn't aware there was one( it's located on top the thermostat housing)
Well, me a woman telling him the fact,
" click" went phone, he hung up.
That's the only reason I lowered their rating to 4 start.
But it's OKI,
I bled the air out myself of the cooling system lines, on my Duramax.👍😇
Over a period of 1-1/2 weeks Andy’s was able to complete the following:
Oil change, servicing of bra
kes, removal of OEM bumper with the associated transfer of fog lights and light bar. In the interest of convenience for all (due to their work load / vendor scheduling) upon the completion of the oil change and brake servicing vehicle was returned until availability to return to the service que. Note that I procured the new lights and brushguard bumper, and scheduling with Line X is what caused the delay in compketion.
