Quick service, but...
Came in for oil change and tire rotation. Car still has a 'maintenance due' note display when I start it. Also now has a coffee cup icon and a timer displayed that I can't seem to get rid of, even after consulting the manual. Will have to take it back again.

Theft
Hyundai has always given the best care and stayed in communication while servicing my vehicle. They give time to sort out payment arrangements and do not do additional work without consulting first.
The low rating is based on the condition I received my car, having mechanical errors that were not there before maintenance. As well as theft of items in my car during the time of repair - there needs to be more security or cameras to monitor vehicles on the lot. Hyundai did say they would reimburse for stolen items.

Great customer service
My main Kudos goes to Danny Hammack and his proactive behavior in getting my car in and serviced via Hyundai ......I purchased my Tucson through he and his team (Trent) and within a week it was in need of service ....he arranged the tow from my house and also provided a loaner vehicle ....delivered to me at home...while the car was being serviced. My car was then returned to me upon completion of repairs ....to my home as well as washed . Now that’s what I call customer service! I am really appreciative of the Hyundai team that was responsible for the quick and efficient repairs !!??

Not sure what happened
Took the car in for an oil change. Noticed oil spots on my driveway and garage floor. Taking it back to see why I now have an oil leak that didn't exist before this service.

Best Service Department In Town
There's never been a problem or issue in the several years I've been going here. The work is always done professionally and correctly. Service personnel are top notch. I have to give a shout out to Andrew. Every customer is important to him. He's pleasant to deal with and you can just tell that he cares. This is the best service department in Columbia.

Joe Machens Hyundai's exceptional service
Joe Machens Hyundai Service Department is the best I've ever used. The Service Manager always checks for recalls, and takes care of them if they find them. If a problem is found by the mechanic other than just the oil change that needs to be taken care of, they rely us and we get it fixed. They are as concerned about our safety as we are!!

Trusted Service for 6 Years
Although the Covid-19 pandemic has changed up grocery shopping and doctor/medical routines, routine maintenance is still in place at Machen's Hyundai with some precautions. You can check-in with your smart phone! There is distanced seating. Staff maintain the 6 foot distance and utilize the plexiglass sneeze guard. My oil changes and tire rotations happen just the same as before. The maintenance checks happen just the same. Written reports of the checks and details of the work done is the same. Tiger Express basic wash complimentary passes complete the experience. Complimentary coffee/water and snacks are available in the waiting room area.
