Car still having problems but they are trying to fix it. Talking to the parent company now about the car having so many issues. Was called about my complaint and they said they would keep me informed more often. They did call me with an update and explained what things they are trying.

New car troubles.

A better outlook
After getting in touch with Kevin the service manager, he took our Tucson and personally looked into the issue and hopefully resolved it for good. He was prompt with updates and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. It's difficult to sometimes look past the prior issues but Kevin has provided me with a better outlook and customer service to convince me to continue to have my vehicle serviced at Van Horn.

Service is a joke
Had car in 3 times now soon to be 4th and still don't have it fixed. Sensor light comes on and then goes off few minutes later. Take it to the dealership and they hook up computer and it says all good. Few days later it happens again. Dealer says same thing...nothing wrong. I even told them which sensor was going off and they still don't do anything. It used to be trouble shoot the issue...now it's rely on a computer or wait for something major to happen before it gets fixed. Staff is rude and blames customer for issues with car. I'll drive an hour further away for better service.

Thank you for taking the time to speak with me about the collision error issue with your vehicle.  Although it has been intermittent, I am glad you will be bringing back in for our technicians to reinspect; and hopefully get some resolution.  Rest assured, not only is your safety, but complete satisfaction is my highest priority.  I am sorry this has taken longer than usual to repair, however sometimes intermittent concerns are difficult to repair immediately.

Austin and Gerrad did a great job in Fond du Lac, WI
It was determined by my tech Gerrad that the engine in my car needed to be replaced. My service writer Austin submitted my test results to Hyundai and I received a replacement engine under the 100,000 mile powertrain warranty. My dealer Van Horn of Fond du Lac saved the day for me and I will always come back to them for my vehicle needs. Also hats off to Hyundai for standing behind their cars. I will also be sticking with them. Gerrad had my new engine in in a day. I also had some other stuff done to the car which Austin managed to find the parts for much quicker than could be hoped for. Thanks again Van Horn and their great service team.

Expensive repairs
I brought my car in for Service as the check engine light was on and it indicated misfiring cylinder. The repair was done promptly, however the price was over $600 for 4 spark plugs and spark plug coils. These are easy to fix, hence the promptness of the service. I learned that it was an easy fix for about $150 and some basic tools. The price seems quite high for about 20 minutes of the mechanics time.

Elantra sedan purchased January 2019. Travel from Menasha to FDL for service on schedule. Pleased with the professional handling of the service event, the attention to owners concerns eg. tire dash light issue with proper air--reset the switch, and the reasonable charges with occassional coupons. Entertained with HGTV during service event which seems to end too soon with service wrap up. Highly recommend.

Austin, Logan, Ben, and Niki are the best. They treat all customers with respect and go above and beyond! Austin was able to get my Van in the same day that it wouldn’t start! This made my day and eased my anxiety about not having my Van the first week of school for my kids! A big thank you Austin and Logan for being so kind and helpful in a situation where I was in a panic!! Niki called and kept me updated with the status and had my Van ready that same day! You won’t find service like this at any other place!?

They don't fix issues
Issue with brakes was addressed but they said because no error codes present they couldn't fix it. Such crap. You saw the issue and still won't fix it.

We understand how frustrating it can be to bring your vehicle in with a concern, where we are unable to duplicate it. I apologize if there was some sort of miscommunication at pick-up. But, after speaking with your technician and reviewing your repair order, the technician was unable to duplicate your concern after letting the vehicle sit. The brake pedal was not firm, nor was it sputtering upon startup. And yes, you are correct, there were no codes present in any systems either. We want every visit here to be a successful one and again apologize for your disappointment with your last visit here. 

Please let us know if there is anything further we can do to help remedy this concern for you or if the issue is persisting and we can re-inspect the vehicle for you.
