Importance of customer satisfaction!
I had service done to my car and the wait was significantly longer than I expected. I was frustrated and could not understand why it was taking so long. When I complained the Service Manager Cheryl came out to explain the length of time that it takes to do the work. When she realized that it was never conveyed to me about a diagnostic update being performed; she understood my frustration. After her sincere apology; she went one step further to make amends and did not charge me for the service that I originally brought the car in for. I think that was above and beyond and I will definitely return to Hyundai of St Augustine again.

A bad situation made right!
Normally great, just a bad day but Service Manager realized that it was their error and thus there was no charge. I feel she was sincerely apologetic and I am satisfied.

The staff is very friendly and courteous but a 2 hour wait for an oil change is not acceptable to me. I would definitely lease or buy from them again, but service area leaves a lot to be desire. Not the first time I have had long wait for oil change.

The service manager contacted me directly regarding the issues I had with a dirty front seat and the price of a map upgrade. She personally took care of the seat issue and also explained that the cost of a maps upgrade is beyond the local dealers control (i.e. a corporate decision). I certainly appreciate the quick response to my concerns and the amends - resolution. That's what I call responsive and great customer service. Thanks!

they marked on sheet car was washed and front vacuumed, it was not. dark circle on seat, like a can was placed there..wasn’t happy.
the cost of updating maps is ridiculous, pay $34,000.00 for a vehicle and they don’t update maps not even once. only two issues, everything else is always good and acceptable

Mistakes happen ,hopefully next service will be better.
Had a routine oil change service performed and asked for the complimentery wash and vacuum afterwards but did not get the wash and vacuum .

Prompt response to remedy the situation
My dissatisfaction with the length of time associated with my recall experience was somewhat tempered by a call from Cheryl. She apologized for the delay I had undergone and offered a complimentary oil change - which I'll use . Impressive that they called within 20 minutes of receiving a negative review - I'll be interested to see how things pan out when I go in for the service! It's interesting that this evaluation form only allows me to answer either YES or NO, but there is no MAYBE option. For the moment my YES is really a conditional one :)

Not my favorite place
I arrived at 9.55 for a 10am service (Recall) appointment. I was told that the brake ECU replacement would take 40 minutes. By 11.45am I felt I'd waited long enough and told the Service Writer that I'd have to have a loaner since I had a 12.30 appointment and would be late if I didn't leave within the next fifteen minutes. At which point I was told that another writer had my paperwork but that the car was ready. "Thank you for your patience," I was told as I finally left just before 12 noon.. I didn't ask how long it had been sitting there in the lot - but I was not given any explanation for why as 40 minute job expanded into a two hour wait. My opinion of this dealer and Hyundai in general is not helped by the fact that this was now the fourth or fifth recall on my 2011 Sonata.

Broke my steering wheel
I took my car in for repair of my steering wheel and now the horn doesn't work, they want to charge me for the damage they caused.
