Learn to greet/keep your customers
I've bought 7 vehicles from College Park Hyundai or the last 4 years... No Problem, but the Service Department totally different.

I will not go back to College Park to service my vehicles there anymore!

They make things right....
I've been a Hyundai customer for the past 7 years. I have never ran into the concerns I did with Hyundai. My thoughts were to never visit this dealership again.
However, amidst my despair and exasperation they teamed up and made things right. I was put in a loaner and repairs were put into play and customer service update calls were made.
I want to especially thank Darnell, Mike and Vince. They made me feel like a valued Hyundai customer... Thanks Guys...

Most horrible service ever
I hated getting my oil changed at this place because it took 3 hours to complete although nothing was truly wrong with my car. I will never get my car serviced there again.

Brakes continue to make squeaking noise and driver’s seat heating needs to be fixed
I ask to check the brakes for the second time, since the first time they indicated that they couldn’t hear the squeaking noise that the brakes continue to make. A technician drive the car with me and he was able to hear the brakes squeaking noise . this is for a 2020 model that hardly has 12k Miles on it and has not be driven that much. It makes me wonder if is something that has to do with a factory defect and if that is the case, it should be fixed under the manufacturer warranty. Also mentioned that the driver’s seat heating system was defective, sometimes it will work and other times it will not turn on.
It was determined that there is a defect with it but need to return to have the work completed
This is the first time that we own a Hyundai and it will probably be the last time. We have always owned Toyota vehicles and have not experienced this type of issues that should be covered under the bumper to bumper warranty.
My expectation when I bring the car back for the third time is that these two issues are resolved. Most likely they will need to replace the rotors, since the last time they resurface them and the problem with the squeaky noise persists. Also, the seat heating needs to be fixed and I am expecting to get a loaner vehicle , while my car is being serviced

I to check the brakes that have been making a squeaking noise and they couldn’t find anything and technicians didn’t hear it. The representative indicated that they had to do a diagnosis and if it was determined that there was nothing wrong, I will have to pay the diagnosis fee of $180, which seems to be ridiculous. It should be inspected and there is definitely something wrong with it, but I am concerned that they will say that nothing is wrong, same as with brakes and then I will be stuck paying a $180 diagnosis fee for nothing. This is the first time that we own a Hyundai and it will probably be the last time. Wr have always owned Toyota vehicles and have not experienced this type of issues that should be covered under the bumper to bumper warranty.

Service personnel were competent, courteous and flexible
Among other reasons, I rated the service top notch, stellar, excellent or whatever adjective is similar. Steve cut through the chase and gave me the ok to bring the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe for service a day earlier than scheduled and Donnell was able to work his magic to have the vehicle ready a day before promised, completing the safety recall issue as well as other necessary work identified during the inspection. We could not be more pleased

Service personnel are competent, caring and flexible.
Steve and Donnell efforts went beyond the pale. They should be rewarded and recognized for this. Steve gave go ahead to put car in a day before it was initially scheduled and Donnelll worked magic such that the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe was ready a day before it was due. So, overall is a 10 and 5 stars. ( I do not know why it shows my rating is 2 stars. It is not. And, the program did this the last time. Hyundai corporate IT needs to address this — why it is showing a rating of 2 stars when it should be 5!

Mike, the service manager is consistent in customer satisfaction and finding a way to ensure every customer comes back. if you express a concern he goes above and beyond to make sure your experience is better and acknowledges what made you unhappy. I was so angry with the service I received, he took responsibility and went out of his way to make sure that was rectified.

Makes Me Not Want A Hyundai
this is my third time going to them (first two times, a misdiagnosis was made and I had to go back) I went back because they’re close and the car is still under manufacturer’s warranty. anyway, I was first told I didn’t need an appointment. they had my car from monday-thursday to only tell me the battery was dead (which I already knew) I had to pay $185 for that diagnosis. I HAD TO KEEP CALLING THEM TO GET AN UPDATE. then I was told parts and labor was an additional $295. I just bought a battery for $175 and someone installed it for me. it’s robbery and unethical. and this has been my experience all 3 times. they don’t communicate, don’t look at the car in a timely fashion and then charge you and arm and a leg for the simplest things. at least have good service if you’re going to charge outrageous amounts.
