Do better
For my car to be hit while being serviced, I feel like nothing significant was done outside of just fixing the dent. My car came back with a dirty steering wheel, dirt on the seats and dirty paper mat

Extended warranty diagnosis
I brought my vehicle in cause I had received an extended warranty for our Elantra. I have 105,000 miles on my car and the warranty was up to 120,000. My car was making a lot of ratteling noises and when I called to make tree appointment, I asked how I would know if the problem was the warrantied part. The service guy said that it sounded like the problem.
But they would charge me a fee to diagnose the problem. I wouldn’t have to pay it if it was the warranted part.
But that is ridiculous that I have to pay to see if my car qualifies to have a part replaced that they extended the warranty on.

Thank you for the feedback. I would like to mention the 2 previous times that you came in, only the fuses were needed. We don't charge diagnosis for fuse testing and replacement. But since this time we actually had to pin point and test the electrical system, there is a charge for diagnosis. We did advise you up front of the diagnosis charge both during the phone call to set the appointment up and and during checking in your vehicle. We apologize for any misunderstanding, and if you would like to have your vehicle repaired per our diagnosis please let us know.

Left Hand doesn't know what the Right Hand is doing.........
Brought the car in for a taillight replacement on the drivers side. Passenger side lights were working OK. When car was done - Mr. Reck told me that the light bulb assembly on the driver's side was completely melted & that someone put the wrong size bulb in there causing it to melt? Hello no one touches that car but the St. Charles Dealership! I mentioned that to him & he told me that "yeah I checked your file & didn't see where they had replaced any bulbs." He said that light assembly would need replacing - the part would need to be ordered & that would take a few days to get it & they would call me when it came in. Bob Reck also told me that the cost for the parts & labor for the assembly would be $200. Then he said they checked the passenger side of the car & that side was OK - but they replaced the bulbs on that side to be "safe,." The replacement of the"good/working" bulbs was a total of $29.70. So I left the dealership with out the working tail light & paid for new lights on the passenger side of the car! How stupid I must look to those boys! When i asked him what should I tell the police if I get stopped for no break light & the genius told me - just show him your paperwork that you're waiting for a part. That was on 8-11-17 and to this date - no one from the dealership has called me about the replacement part....I know that they have both my home & cell number - still no calls. I really enjoy the Sonata but this time of year everyone is looking to sell me a newer car & quite honestly - I'll probably start looking at them there's more to a car than just the car - Service - GOOD SERVICE is most important! Unfortunately good service there is difficult to get...

I forgot to mention to brad recent oil changes I did not get the paper showing the mechanics checklist of the high level multipoint inspection so I guess my brakes etc are fine?? Brad is my go to guy there and helped me often. Bob Reck is great too. Your team is like my family..peace on each visit. Kudos to your team and your guidance!! I appreciate the follow up call on this. We are good..5 stars
