What a Headache
I did not feel like a valued customer. My engine went out on my 2019 Hyundai Tucson which took 3 1/2 months to fix.

Appreciation
I truly appreciate the friendly people and service rendered by Pohanka. I have been a customer since 2001 and will always purchase vehicles from them. I call myself a VIP with Pohanka. The service managers do make sure you have maintenance perfection and understanding. I was puzzled about a situation with my vehicle but it was clearly explained to me. It couldn’t get any clearer by linking me to a website that explain more details of the problem.

I feel lied to
Upon arriving at 5:30 pm I was told by someone who had neither listened to the car nor looked at it that it wouldn’t be my brakes because they were fine when inspected just 5 months before, they were only 11 months old and one normally gets 2 years out of bakes. I was told if it were brakes they could do them, but that there wasn’t enough time to do a complete inspection and since I would only hear the noise when the brakes were pressed, it wasn’t the brakes. I left. Then I returned and decided to pay the $49 for the brake inspection as I have been driving 35-45 minutes in Beltway stop-and-go bumper-to-bumper traffic 5 days per week since the brakes were replaced 11 months previously.

The back brakes were at 3mm. The brake repairs were quick. They then did that full inspection I was told they couldn’t do that evening on its own. I then asked to get the battery replaced in my proximity key. They sold me a battery for about $7.50 but refused to put it in my key fob. I was shown how to use a key to open the fob and replace the battery. It makes so much sense to have me use a rough key that chewed up the plastic to open the key fob when the service staff could have done it with the proper tool and a lot more experience than I had (zero experience opening key fobs). I won’t go back to Pohanka for service.

think i may start fgoing elsewhere for my car service
It has been very different from when I first bought my car from here. Now im going to start going elsewhere for my service because their prices continue to go up for oil changes when i drive a sonata they charge like I have an audi or a truck. Also when I got back into my car they left black dirt stains on my seats and on my passenger door handles and my seats are light in color

Waited too long
I wait 4 also 5 hours (7:30am-11:45am) on Saturday to get my front breaks replaced. I was barely informed on the status of my car, hours later I was told they were finally working on my car another hour goes by no current update, I had to find the sells rep to ask how much longer it would be he told 15-20 min when in reality it 30-45 min. Once my car was done he told me the only had 2 people working on breaks on saturdays.

Recent appointment
Customer service was pretty good but my car took forever. My appointment was at 8:00 and I dropped off. Repairs weren’t done until like 2:45. I just wish they gave better updates on time. I did not expect it to take that long but they did nice work.
