We received a written estimate for the work to be completed and when my 19yo daughter picked up the vehicle she was charged significantly more than the estimate we were provided. She did not know any better so she just paid and left. We will not be returning for service to this location

I am very thankful for Johns wonderful help, charisma and attitude and all of his accommodations while servicing my vehicle. Larry was able to help me and able to guide me to Johns direction when additional help was needed. The hard working service they performed was admirable and the perseverance- unimaginable. Extremely respectful. Give them raises or a promotion please! They went beyond the bar of Hyundai excellence and set a wonderful face for the company.

Lack of service
Unable to schedule a date for a oil change . Took me between 5 to 6 weeks. No proof of things done at the vehicle after I explained the things required at the 9000 miles.

Service follow up from Service Manager
I just wanted to take a minute to recognize the outstanding job John , the service manager, did to address and resolve my concerns. He listened to the issues, apologized and committed recourses to make the situation right. I feel confident he will ensure that my customer service experience going forward is exceptional. I appreciate that. Also, I want to recognize Alex for stepping in and stepping up to help us resolve our problems at the dealership that day. He should be rewarded for his awareness. He saved the day and covered for his associate with a great attitude.

Customer service needs to be improved here.
My service rep left for the day without arrangements to have anyone cover my case. As a result, my wife and I sat in the waiting room for at least an hour longer than we should have. That's not right and is not indicative of the type of service I have received here in the past. Something needs to be corrected and in the interest of good customer service something should be done to make this right.

Re fixing the mess
What makes a service department great is not the fact that they are good at what they do. They are expected to do that, but more so, when they go beyond and above to fix something that has gone wrong. That in it self take more courage because you may need to take a loss to fix the damaged regardless of how small or big the problem may be. What is alway more important in any business or in life is what you do after the facts has been layout.

This is why I give the service department of Hyundai of Wesley Chapel a five star rating.

Good receiving staff, not enough experience mechanic
Went for a simple oil change and a noise on the back tire. To make the story short, the mechanic return the car leaking oil all over my driveway and the noise was still there which was not even check and it turn out after returning that it was the shock absorbers.

Scheduling problems
It is unacceptable to have to wait 1-2 months for an appointment when you have a problem with your car. My trunk wouldn’t open and I needed it fixed. Ended up just dropping off the car and hoping they could get to it within a few days. Luckily I’m retired! Members of my family have different brands of cars and can get a service appointment with a few days. This needs to be remedied at your dealership. Isn’t it time to stop using Covid as an excuse for limited service?

UPDATE- After speaking with Justin I see how the service department is working on improving. I will give them another chance.
Hyundai is a great vehicle however the service department at Wesley Chapel is not what it used to be. So sad. I am on my third. Hyundai and live right by the dealership. However, I might go somewhere else for service for my Hyundai.

Costly and timely.
You expect good service at the dealer and you also expect to pay out the nose. I got both. It took almost a week to get the parts, but the work was completed satisfactorily (so far). I just have to save up for the additional $4k in suggested repairs I was informed of.

Did not have an appointment to have tire re paired with nail in it. Waited almost two hours but understand they are short staffed. Otherwise the staff was very courteous .

As you can see by all other responses, we meant the opposite when answering this question: “ What could have been improved about your interaction with the staff at Hyundai of Wesley Chapel?” We meant to state that these were DONE WELL.
