I am elderly and a widow and know nothing about cars, when my husband passed away Mark told me he would advise me on my car care and I have never been disapointed or overcharged. You know some places do tell widows they need work done that they don't need. I have never had to worry about that. Mark always has time to talk to me about my car and doesn't lead me astray.

I trust Mark Atwood at Centerville Hyundai
I am an elderly widow lady who knows nothing about cars. When my husband passed away Mark said he would always make sure they took the best care of my car and needs. I feel confident he was being honest and I like talking to him. I have never had a bad experiance or had to pay for something I didn't need. I hope he never changes jobs!

Great service by proffessionals
I brought my car in for an oil change. The tech did a software update. The next time i drove my car, the CHECK ENGINE light came on. After talking to service manager, i find out that the UPDATE is creating issues. The following day i had to return to dealer to get a rental car cause my car wasnt running correctly. I surely hope they fix problem soon. I miss my car and i dont care for inconvenience.

Service is terrible.
In addition to the other issues I brought up, I'm also unhappy with Hyudai as a company. When I bought my car I was told that it would achieve a certain MPG. I later received notification that the stated MPG rate wasn't correct, and as the result of a lawsuit I would receive reimbursement for the difference in advertised and actual mileage, based on the number of miles on my car. I received one or two checks for this. Then the dealer started telling me crap like "you'll really want to save this up and turn in once a year". After this I researched the issue and found out that Hyundai essentially appealed the issue to tie it up in the courts, essentially obfuscating the process to avoid paying out the reimbursements. I won't be buying another Hyundai.

On your last visit with the noise on cold start up, That was why there was extra time on looking at your car , we could not listen for a noise that occurs on cold start up while the motor was warm. Told them going in engine had a loud tapping. Took them all day to tell me the tapping was coming from the engine and would cost $1500 to $4000 to repair, and then was charged nearly $60.

       I have reviewed your work order and would like More information from you about your review. 
    
You had brought your car in for us to check out the noise coming from the engine, your advisor explained the check out fee and you had let him know it was worse after the car had sat for some time. 

I would also like to go over your comment about having completed the routine maintenance, this was only the second time we have seen your car in our service department, we have no way of knowing what has been completed on your car as far as maintenance and your car does have 131,000 miles on it. You can contact Hyundai Motor America if you would like to see what they are willing to do for you.

Completely shocked at the terrible service my family and I received. 8 hours for minor repairs that had nothing to do with initial problem. Than you missed the actual problem with the car. So now my family and I have to spend $455 replacing what you guys missed.

Had the engine replaced under the Hyundai warranty. Upon pickup the interior of the driver door had multiple grease fingerprints on it. Next, as soon as I hit the highway within a mile or two from the dealer a loud noise arouse from the front driver wheelwell area. I had to pull over on the side of the highway with my 1.5 year old to inspect the cause. I discovered the driver front wheelwell liner was not fastened with push pins to the skid plate. Driving down the highway forced the front part of the wheelwell liner I to the tire rubbing hole in it and fracturing it in other places. As a previous ASE Master Auto Technician we always test drove vehicles prior to returning them to the customer. If this was done it would have been easily identified!

6 and a half hours for 2 tires and an oil change
Appointment was scheduled 5 weeks in advance, Voss was told 2 tires needed replaced. No tires were on hand. Was told multiple times, 'it'd be a little longer' while my car sat unattended to for 5 and a half hours. The final hour of the day, they finally did the work. It appears if you aren't waiting for your car, they take advantage and push you to the last time of day.

In the past Service has been great, loaner cars offered and problems corrected, a good experience overall.
The issue from the last service visit have been resolved. The issue was poor performance after a ECM update. The Service manager recommended a reset of the TCM. After the reset, the performance returned to previous levels.

It would be better if dealer advocated for the customer. I kind of got the run around. Only to be told there was nothing that could be done. Is this industry standard? I do not thing so. I would not recommend Voss Hyundai to a friend based on this experience.

Problems
I had to have my brand new car serviced 3 times before 7500 miles. After being serviced my a/c stopped working. It took almost a month before they found the part to fix it. I was making a payment for a vehicle I could not drive. The problems were no fault of mine. I had to talk to the service mgr before I could get an explanation of why it was taking so long. It was inconvient to me without my car. Even though I had a loaner it was nasty dirty.
