Defective parts Mystery
There are defective parts on the Hyundai Elantra that the dealership does not cover. KNOW WHAT THEY ARE!!! Glad I found out before we bought a third car.

Front wheel noise
I took the car in for service because of a noise that I thought might be a front wheel bearing. They checked it out and found the wheel alignment was off. I drove the car again and the noise was still there. The service manager suggested that the cause might be because the tires were rotated a couple weeks prior to the alignment and the uneven tire wear was generating the noise. They took the car in and rotated the tires back to the original position and the noise has gone away. They were very persistent in getting this right. Thankyou.

Front wheel noise
A wheel alignment was done to correct the noise. Because the alignment supposedly caused uneven tire wear I'll still have the noise unless I want to replace tires that have life left on the trend. I my mind the problem isn't resolved. Other than the noise and vibration still being there the car still runs. Only time will tell if it's a bearing or a tire problem.

Excellent Help in an Emergency Situation
Kevin went above and beyond to help me resolve a serious fluid level issue with my brand new Santa Fe PHEV on a Friday afternoon. Rairdon's is my preferred service location and when an issue cropped up out of town another Hyundai dealer blew me off but not Kevin at Rairdon's! He came through to not only help me that day but to keep me well informed as they did trouble shooting to understand the source of the issue. Thank you Kevin and the Rairdon service team!!

One note...I did not purchase my Santa Fe PHEV from Rairdon's. Not because I didn't want to, but because this vehicle is not yet sold in WA. As you can see, the level of service I received from Kevin did not depend on me purchasing the vehicle from Rairdon.

Kevin, the service advisor is the best, but the facility is terrible and I'm surprised Hyundai allow is. I bought my car from Burlington as I thought they weren't really a dealer of standing with such poor physical facilities.

Although it was only an oil change the personal were friendly, and efficient. The oil change was done, fluid levels topped off the waiting time was minimal. I waited in the lounge because I knew I wouldn't have to wait that long.
