Getting a New Car
We drove over an hour to our dealership with sleet and made it a few minutes early to our 10:00 am appointment. We arrived about 10 minutes early to be told our salesman wasn’t there. Another salesman phoned our salesman and told us he just lived down the street and would be right there. It was 10:15 before he arrived. My husband had already asked someone else to help us. Another salesman went out and got our car and pulled it up for us to look at. The other salesman also got someone to look at our trade in and start working us up a price for the trade in. The finance guy was awesome! Even though we paid cash still had a ton of paperwork but he knew what he was doing and this went quickly . I asked the finance man about getting our phones programmed to our car and he said our salesman would do it before we left the lot. After closing out all paperwork and making payment our salesman walked us out to our new car. I asked him to get in so I could ask a few questions before leaving and he did. I asked him about programming our phones and he said this car couldn’t be programmed. He asked if I had an adapter and told me I would need an adapter. I was told I would have to have to have my phone plugged in for it to come through my speakers and my phone would also have to be plugged in for my navigation system to work through my phone. This car has a charging station so why should I need an adapter? This is a 2022 Palisade SEL AWD. I think he just really didn’t have time for us and maybe he didn’t know how to program the phones. On our way home the washer fluid light came on before we got home. You would think when you pay $46,000. for a car it would have fluid for the wipers to at least make it home from the he dealership. We stopped and bought a gallon wiper fluid and it held 90% of the gallon. So there was very little fluid for the wipers. This was Wednesday morning after my car came in Monday morning and they said they had checked everything on it. I had a relative program my phone the next week and I DO NOT need an ADAPTER for my phone or navigation system.

Associate has been handed corrective action for not being prepared for his appointment.  This was a misstep by all involved and I am looking into who the technician was that did not prep the car correctly.

The service received at auyonation was exceptional. The sales rep Noor was extremely knowledgeable on products and services. He was patient with explaining in detail the necessary procedure. He included the test drive. Zach the CFS manager was exceptionally thorough and provided in extreme detail the breakdown of my monthly payments and explained the reason for adding the extended warranty.

2021 Hyundai Palisade
Auto nation was great to buy my Palisade at the only disappointing thing was they would not give me $500 off for being a first responder. They said it was not applied to the Palisades. Very disappointing since I have been non stop with Covid-19 all of 2020.
