I brought in a 2004 Honda Accord, which I was considering purchasing from a dealership. I brought it
to Omaha Japanese Auto Repair (OJAR) for a pre-purchase inspection.
I think within about an hour (this was after squeezing me in last-minute) OJAR identified several what I would describe as significant issues, including a dealbreaker that no amount of the dealer lowering the price would make me buy the car.
At any other point in my life I would have just bought the Accord. I did like it and it SEEMED to drive acceptably. But I would have had so many issues with repairs, and a severely shortened car lifespan.
All avoided for a reasonable rate. OJAR doesn’t cost money; it saves money.
