At AMF Auto Clinic, we work hard to keep our customers vehicles running properly and to keep our clients safe on the road. This review is especially disappointing to us on many levels. First, the customer came in for a PA Safety and Emissions Inspection. We did the inspection and emission, and found that the customer had torn wiper blades, which needed to be replaced, and a screw in a tire which needed to be patched. When we do an inspection at AMF, we go over EVERY customers vehicle and advise them on items ‘to watch’ so they do not break down. In this case, the front and rear brakes were not lubricated, and we recommended servicing them. We also recommended replacing the serpentine belt, which is dry rotting and has deep cracks. The cabin pollen filter was missing and the tray which would house it was filled with debris. Additionally, the air filter was dirty. It is our job as Auto Service Advisors to thoroughly check a vehicle and advise the customer how to proceed to keep their vehicle in top running condition. We did our job, and the client chose to not perform the recommended services. Regrettably, she thought we were trying to sell her things she did not need. That is not the case.
