Yolanda said they fixed her vehicle just fine, but she feels like there was a discrepancy in their recommendation for their additional repairs. She said she ended up taking her vehicle somewhere else for a second opinion and her concerns were validated that she did not need any of the repairs that this business was trying to recommend. She would not recommend this business based on this experience.

Yolanda came to us as a referral from a long time female customer of ours. We went above and beyond what was billed to ensure that Yolandas vehicle was repaired properly when it was here in the shop. We did make
recommendations for additional work that needs to be done to her minimally maintained 150,000 mile old vehicle. The vehicle was road tested by a very experienced technician as well as the shop owner who is an ASE certified master automobile technician. We both confirmed that multiple issues were present with the vehicle that still needed attention. When this review was shared with us, we were very skeptical of someone saying it did not need any other repairs. We called to discuss this matter, but Yolanda never answered or returned any of our phone calls
until the night before this review posted. Our customer who referred her to us found out about the review and was shocked with her response as well. When we finally did speak with her, she indicated that her brother (who is NOT a technician) was the source of her second opinion. We offered to road test and inspect the vehicle with her present to show the need for the recommendations. She admitted that she had previously had bad experiences with other repair shops and was quick to make a bad report on this business. She declined the offer for a reinspection of her vehicle with her present, as well as changing the review before it was published. We at Chequered Flag Automotive take these remarks personally and always make the best attempt possible to remedy any issues quickly
and completely. This is a case of someone who would not allow us the opportunity to prove ourselves, but trusted an inexperienced second opinion instead.
