I am sorry you did not feel you received a value for what you paid. You brought your vehicle in for an oil leak. We explained before we made the repair that the entire engine was covered with oil. The top, sides and both ends were wet with oil. You had several drips too. Oil leaks can be very hard to locate, and sometimes there are multiple leaks. We could see a major oil leak at the valve covers. Valve covers are on the top of the engine. They can leak in the front, back and sides. Since oil runs down and not up, we said we would start there, clean the engine and see what else might be leaking. When you brought the vehicle back, we both looked and saw there was no more oil coming from the top of the engine. There was still oil leaking from other areas. We did our best to make sure we did not replace anything that did not need replaced. Unfortunalely you had more problems lower down on the engine. When I recommended the repairs on the valve covers, I was just trying to figure out the best way to fix your oil leaks without recommending every seal and gasket on the engine.
