2014 Sonata-Vents leak ??? Bad quality
So, the service team at my local Hyundai determined the vent system leaks, that nothing can be done about it. So, if I turn the air control knob to foot-only mode and turn up the heat, it is OK for heat to come out of the upper vents and the windshield vents? Great, my phone sitting in a phone holder on one of the upper vents gets heated up, thus shortening the life of the battery and other electronics inside. And, if I turn the air control knob to foot+defrost(windshield) mode and turn up the air (hot or cold), air comes out of the upper vents as well? Our Honda and In-Laws' Toyotas do not do this. This is shotty/subpar quality on Hyundai's part.
