Unfortunately there is always back and forth between the shop and insurance provider. We want to provide a comlpete and proper repair using only OEM parts and following OEM repair procedures. Allstate wants the cheapest after market or Junk yard parts available and least amount of labor to be charged. These two conflicting goals can cause delays in the repair process. Fortunately with a great customer like Amy standing up for her rights to have a quality repair, we win out in the end. Thanks, Amy.....
Mike is correct, we should have called him more often. However if the insurance company wouldn't have taken 3 tries to complete the paper work, the vehicle would have been completed much sooner and the additional customer contacts wouldn't have been needed. Anytime an insurance coompany is involved in a repair, it delays the process of repair completion.
