Taking advantage of a 80 year woman!
My mother took her car in for a tire rotation. She was given an estimate for repairing damaged ty rod and told it was okay to drive. Her car had no signs of a damaged ty rod. This made no sense to her family. Second opinion at the dealership showed no signs of damaged ty rod. Our family will not ever let Hiller Automotive touch our cars again. Shame on them for the stress they placed on our 80 year old mom!

Hello Theresa,
After reading your review I personally investigated your complaint with the technician involved.  He remembered your vehicle he had worked on, and why he had recommended the passenger inner tie rod end.  While rotating the tires he checked the steering and suspension system for any concerns.  He noticed slight movement in the passenger inner tie rod end, and an audible noise when moving the tire back and forth.  He called over a senior technician to verify the recommendation.  The senior technician held the inner tie rod tightly with his hand while the other technician moved the tire back and forth.  The noise and slight movement stopped.
In your comments I noticed you had mentioned the "damaged tie rod".  The tie rod end was not damaged, it had slight movement and noise.  It was not at the point of a safety related issue.  That is why we said it was okay to drive.
In closing I would ask you to let us show you exactly what my technician discovered.  Feel free to contact me personally @309-693-9661 in hopes to setting up a time to do this.
I thank you in advance and look forward to hearing from you.
