Pat said the business gave her a battery she did not really need, because her battery had a life time guarantee and it could have been replaced under warranty. She added that they tried to sell her an alternator she probably did not need. When they replaced the battery they left a battery cable unconnected. The only reason it grounded was because there were pigs tails hanging off of it that touched the frame. She said she would not recommend this business because she felt like she was ripped off.

Called customer to get clarification on complaint. Left message for a call back. Unclear as to why battery replacement was authorized by customer if she has a "life-time warranty" from another facility. Advised her that our charging system test confirmed a faulty battery and an underperforming alternator. Unclear about what "pig tails" are on a vehicle... Will offer a customer a free oil change due to the reported poor experience, but unsure that Interstate Auto Care could have done anything different in this case.
