The mechanics addressed my maintenance items and pointed out a couple items to watch long-term. They suggested waiting and monitoring for more wear on items that aren't a safety concern. His theory was to continue with the factory parts until they are used up. He gave me some signs I can watch for so I know when it's time. I left feeling a little bit smarter about cars and comfortable there wasn't pressure to run up their day's sales. It's nice walking out of an auto repair place knowing they weren't trying to empty out my pockets.
