Ted said he's been using Joel as his mechanic for the last 8 years and if things weren't perfect he always made it right. When things went wrong Joel fixed it. Most of the things probably weren't even his fault but Joel took care of it. Ted stated what came to his mind was what happened about 3 years ago. After some work was done the serpentine belt moved forward, sliced and tore up some stuff, and Joel fixed it at no charge. Due to that the pressure on all the other pulleys caused the alternator to go out when he was in the middle of nowhere. Joel had it towed in and fixed it, again at no charge. Most of these things probably weren't even his fault but he took care of it. Ted uses his vehicle quite a bit for his work. He takes his vehicle in on Saturdays and Joel has the work done by Saturday night, so he doesn't have to miss work. Joel is always fair about the price, he stands behind the work he does, and he's always treated him really good as a customer. Ted said he has 264,000 miles on his truck and since Joel has been his mechanic for 8 years, it is why it's still running.
