Joshua said this business ended up charging him way more than he had expected to pay. They damaged his shift linkage but did not take responsibility for it. He stated his vehicle's shifting was fine before he took it in to this business but now he has a hard time down shifting from the fifth and sixth gear. He would not recommend this business to others unless they take responsibility and fix what they did. This business has made it clear that they were not responsible for this problem.

In response to Joshua H's claims, I would like to provide the following information. Josh owns a 2007 Mazda 6 that has been modified into a high performance car. The vehicle is radically turbo charged with extreme boost (extra power). The reason his vehicle was towed to my establishment was because he had broken the structure of the car (the firewall) due to excessive abuse when shifting his transmission. By his own admission, he has already replaced two clutches in this vehicle, multiple engine mounts, as well as tearing apart the rear differential of the car. This is because the car cannot contain its performance. I other words, his vehicle's power is tearing up its parts. When we picked up the vehicle, it had been disabled for over a month. In fact, Josh had unsuccessfully tried to fix the vehicle himself. In addition, Josh's transmission has internal damage (second gear is missing). In response to his claims of being overcharged, he was given an estimate, but we had little idea of what the exact cost would be due to the damage he caused to the firewall. Additional items needed to be removed; however, the shift cables that he claims are not working properly were not disturbed. He arrived at the close of business to discuss his concerns after all technicians had left for the day. He was invited to return the following day so the work could be inspected. I am still awaiting his return. I will gladly inspect the repairs that were performed to ensure that all work was performed properly.
