I took my 2011 Mazda CX-9 to Millevoi's for an oil and filter change and a tire rotation prior to a 1,200 mile family trip that we will be taking in early August. Thankfully, the folks at Millevoi's also noticed a leak in the seals of the transfer case on this vehicle and took me out while it was on the lift to show it to me. After determining that it was not some minor issue, they searched their records and discovered that this is a fairly common problem on 2009-2011 CX-9s, and they suggested that I contact Mazda for warranty repair/replacement. Two days later, Mazda replaced the entire transfer case at no charge to me.
This heads-up from the folks at Millevoi's probably saved me a couple thousand dollars .... or, even worse, a disabled vehicle!
