Great Guys
Although it took some doing to get the parts for our repair, Jordan, Bruce and Don did everything they could to get our truck back on the road as soon as they possibly could. All of our repairs are done by My Car Guy.

Friendly speedy service
Bruce and Jordan quickly identified the problem, exhaust noise, and said they would order parts, new muffler, and called a few hours later stating it was installed and how much it would be! They are a VERY reliable, friendly, and dependable service station!
I am a repeat customer and would recommend them HIGHLY!

They stand behind their work
My Car Guy does great repair work, but sometimes a part doesn’t hold up. They replaced the faulty part at no charge the same day I brought it in. No hassle and service with a smile. These guys will continue to get my business because they are honest, hard working, and stand behind their work.

2003 Honda Element; another repair shop told me engine was shot and needed to be replaced. MY CAR GUY proved them wrong!
A mechanic at another repair shop told me that the engine was shot and needed to be replaced. The problem was that the car would go into limp mode and not go over 3000 RPM. That happened during 2018 when they changed out various VTEC assemblies. The problem would keep coming back. Got to the point where I was scared to drive the car because I couldn’t trust it not to go into limp mode; lose power.

On 01/02/2019, I then sought a second opinion and took the car to MY CAR GUY to have it checked out because he (Bruce) is a specialist working with Hondas. Bruce diagnosed the engine light as possible VTEC issues. At that time they could not duplicate the problem (slow limp mode); they did not charge me.

On 01/16/2019 I took the car back to MY CAR GUY because it was still going into limp mode. Called MY CAR GUY, and told them what the car was doing and asked if I could bring it in. I then drove it into the shop in the limp mode position. Because it was still in limp mode, they were able to find a bad plug connection and believed that someone had probed the plug wires to the oil pressure switch and it had made it where it didn’t make contact all of the time. MY CAR GUY replaced the plug to the variable valve timing pressure switch. This solved the problem and I haven’t had a problem with the car going into limp mode since, and it is now May 2019, four months later. The car did not need a replacement engine!

I cannot say enough about the limits MY CAR GUY went to help me get my car running dependable after a year of it being undependable. Super job, MY CAR GUY! Thanks!

Keeps me rolling
The guys at My Car Guy keep my decades old vehicles running reliably. They perform only the repairs necessary and don't try to sell me repairs I do not need. The repairs are timely, thorough, and don't break the bank. I no longer worry that my vehicles will leave me stranded somewhere because Bruce and company do regular inspections and thorough repairs.
