Everyone in my family drives a good 25 minutes out of our way (and past many other places that could surely also fix our cars), but we drive for the service. They're honest and reliable. They go above and beyond. They're prompt. It's just worth my time to drive from a city away. I never worry they're trying to get me to spend more money than necessary. More than once I've dropped my car off somewhere else, gotten their quote, called Pfefferle and they beat the price by a long shot.
