Review for Riker's Automotive And Tire Centers Inc.
Laurie J. on 08/23/2011
Laurie stated she dealt with the business twice and both experiences were bad. She explained the first time she took the vehicle in for a minor service and it was returned with major issues. Also, the business charged her 3 times the amount another business would have charged. She added on her second visit she told the business the battery or the alternator needed replacing and the business wanted to charge her a $36.00 fee to test the vehicle. In addition, she communicated the business wanted to charge her 3.5 times the amount Auto Zone would have charged for the service. Also, she mentioned she had various plastic containers inside the vehicle that had been taken out and dumped in the trunk. As a result of her experiences with the business, Laurie stressed she would never recommend the business.

I have tried to contact Laurie to address her issues, but I could not reach her. She has only been at our location 3 times, the 1st time in April, she had an oil change done and we changed the 4 spark plugs, air filter, and replaced a light bulb. The second visit was on May 31st, she complained about the car was "bucking". we performed a fuel injection service and brake flush. The car needed preventive maintenance to clean the carbon buildup. Not a "Major Issue". We charged her our menu rate of $108.95 for the Fuel Injection Service. The last visit, August 10th, she wanted us to determine whether it was the battery or alternator causing her electrical problem. It was the battery and she said that she could get it through her company "wholesale" at Autozone. We are here to make her happy with her experience at Riker's. I hope that we can still make it better.
