I recently had my car towed to Rte. 1 Auto after it "died" in transit in my hometown of Gloucester, Massachusetts. I have been a loyal customer for just over three years and I cannot understate my satisfaction with the truly professional staff at Rte. 1 Auto. In this case, it turned out that my alternator was the culprit. Larry, the owner, looked up my service record and discovered that the alternator was still under warranty. I would not have known this myself and, of course, was elated to learn that my only expense would be the reasonable cost of labor. I will continue to make the drive to Peabody to Rte. 1 Auto for service to my 1996 Oldsmobile. I know I can count on honesty, efficiency and courtesy- why go anywhere else?
