S&P did a good job on a general 90K mile inspection and provided me clear guidance on what they recommended along with general checks and maintenance.
What I asked them to do, engine compartment noise, they did not deviate from but found issues I did not expect that involved belt replacement, a small oil leak, AC system trouble, fluid replacement that I did ask for relating to coolant, CVT transmission, brake check, several other items I'm not listing.
The goal for me was to purchase a dependable and affordable vehicle for my kid that was in good shape and safe to drive.
I'm glad I brought it to S&P when I did and had them verify that the vehicle was roadworthy, and resolved maintenance issues I believe the dealer did not repair.
Be mindful of used cars sold in Anchorage, and connect with a shop like S&P for a third party inspection. They will not steer you wrong.
