No Work Done
I had my pickup brought in because my horn was not working. I told them what I hypothesized the issue was and handed them the keys at around 7:30, when they had basically just opened. I gave them my phone number to contact me throughout the day for updates. Time passes, and I’ve heard nothing. I continue to hear nothing until around 4pm, when I learned from my stepfather that absolutely no work was done on my vehicle, and they had been looking at completely separate areas of my vehicle from my original concern. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and say that they were busy enough that my truck had to wait, but it should’ve been a relatively quick and simple job to do. Instead, I find out that they did an entire inspection, fixed nothing, and kept the truck there for virtually no reason. This instance, coupled with an experience another close family member had at Twin City, has left me sour towards them as a company, and I don’t feel as though I’d bring my vehicle back anytime in the near future.

Good afternoon,
I have had the opportunity to review the appointment booking and the initial work order. The appointment was booked as a mechanical "Drop Off" appointment for a Maine State Inspection and Check Horn Operation. That is exactly what we did.The horn issue was diagnosed as the horn was inoperable and wiring related power issue caused by a faulty clock spring. During the Maine State Inspection it was noted that the vehicle had several structural issues due to corrosion to include bumper supports, cab mounts (frame supports), rear cross member and a hole rusted through the frame rail. We never charged you for the Failed Maine State Inspection and the diagnosis of the horn issue. Unfortunately your vehicle is unsafe due to the excessive corrosion issues.
