Broken down VW / Winnebago
Cal and his service team at Volkswagen of Duluth are truly remarkable. I was passing through the area in my VW Winnebago and experienced a faulty alternator and was stranded. Even though their shop was intensely busy and backlogged they manage to squeeze in a very challenging job to get me and my dog Shorty back on the road on our adventure. Thank you Volkswagen of Duluth and Cal.

Ted said his experience was terrible. He said this is the worst dealership he has ever dealt with. He said he had to threaten to go to the attorney general to get them to do work on a certified preowned vehicle. He said they lied to him and they had his vehicle for a week but never called to tell him it was ready. He said he bought a certified pre owned vehicle but the brakes were making squealing noises and it took them 2.5 months to replace them. They had to replace the windshield wipers, it was missing two head-rests, there is a part on the exterior of the vehicle that the paperwork says is there but is not, the mirror was wiggling, the vehicle was dirty, they took stickers off of the windshield but never scraped it and it did not have the sticker saying when the last oil change was done. He said they ordered parts 3 weeks ago but he still hasn't gotten them. He said the sales department and the general manager never once returned any of his phone calls. He said the service he got from the sales and general managers was horrendous. He said the service department rectified it and the guy he dealt with was decent, but he was just doing his job. He didn't do anything special. He said he is terribly unhappy with this business and would not recommend them to anybody.

Ron said he's still not happy with the vehicle since he got it back. They didn't fix it and its a 200 mile trip to go down there. However, he cant blame them for the issues with his vehicle. They can only fix it when the check engine light is on. He said the service was good, they treated him well and they got him in as soon as they could.

Julie said what she went to this business for did not happen while she was there, so they did not do anything to her vehicle. Her front passenger side door speaker has issues with the bass. When she plays certain music the bass is too loud. It has happened a few times after she took it there , she is unsure how they will repair it.

Elizabeth said she wishes they would have had the part in. She knew what part the vehicle needed but it was under warranty so she took it to this business. She drove 3 hours round trip just to find out that they didn't have the part. She had to go back home and wait until they could schedule it again and then drive another 3 hours round trip. However, they were super nice, accommodating and efficient.

Treat you like you're stupid!
Having problems with the turbo sticking. I looked it up and it's either carbon or a loose shaft and they wont cover it under warranty. Service manager was rude!!

Great Dealership
We recently purchased a used Tiguan from Volkswagen. Previously a new Passat. Worked with Tyler on both purchases and received great customer service. Also can vouch for a great service department. Everyone is friendly, professional and knowledgeable, including the finance guy. There is a great selection of new and used, so it is easy to find what you are looking for. Don't hesitate to check it out.
