An impressive beast!

I love Audi’s. I bought a new, loaded S4 in 2000 when they became available in US. Still have it, still love it! This 2014 S5 is a different animal altogether. This is a full fledged Supercar, with all the bells and whistles,(it’s a “privilege equipped with 32,000 mi.) I’ve owned Porches, Mercedes, Audi’s, Jeep’s, Hummers, etc, and I’ve never driven anything like this car. Maserati’s, Ferrari’s, etc., watch out! This car is a Beast!! Very cool!

All good except ...

I love everything about the car: handling, acceleration, braking, quiet with the top closed, power - everything except the wheels. The low profile alloy wheels are extremely vulnerable to pot holes and therefore blowouts. I've had to replace all the wheels and had rims repeatedly straightened. Even so, I love the car. I just wish they could come up with a more durable alloy for the wheels.

Everything but the wheels

Absolutely love everything about the car: handling, power.ride. east of use for the cabriolet top. Everything but the wheels - they are so low profile that I've had three blowouts when hitting a road hole that wouldn't be a problem for a more traditional wheel/tire combination. Otherwise, it's a joy to drive.

Awesome sports car.

After 6 years I still love this car. it is dependable, powerful, great handling and good balance of room and function. The car handles the corners at speed and accelerates to push you back in the seats. At high speed it remains stable.
