Z4

The Z4 is one of the most beautiful cars built. It's flowing lines and understated elegance always get comments and questions from those seeing it. The Z3, It's predecessor, was a head turned as well, but the 4 is even better. BMW really "broke the mold" with this beauty. Of all the roadsters we have had over the years, this is by far the most fun to drive.

Love my car

No problems so far take care of,your car it'll take care of you!!!! Fun in the summer because if the convertible top ..I love my red interior goes awesome with the black exterior superior sound system looks awesome tinted.

I love my car

Unfortunately we purchased 2008 from United car brokers and they sold us a car that was in horrible shape. German Car Repair fixed all that.

2008 Z4 Roadster has soft-top problems

Bought this 2008 Z4 3.osi as a certified pre-owned vehicle in 2010. Cared for it meticulously ever since. Garaged 7 months a year. Currently has under 50k miles. When I brought it out this May(2017) the soft-top would not operate. Diagnosed at the dealership with a dead hydraulic motor. The motor sits in a "well" beneath the top that has a drain hole. Apparently the drain hole became plugged which allowed water to collect and short out the motor. An internet search showed that this is a relatively common problem. Cost of the fix: $1900+!!! When I asked how I can check the drain hole to keep it open, I was told it can't be checked; just keep debris off of the roof!! When I appealed to corporate, the response was "sorry, your warranty has expired". This is a great car to drive; everything one would want in a roadster. BMW's corporate support in this matter is inadequate at best.
