Unreliable

Less then three years old and this car has major ignition issues. Leaks and other problems. Contacted GM corporation and they seemed to care less. Management was unprofessional and rude. This car will be my last Chevy ever. And I'll tell everyone I know just how terrible this car is and the employees I experienced with this car. Terrible. Unreliable. Rude

Worst car I ever owned

Good for a beater car, other than that invest in better quality. Probably one of the worst cars Chevy has ever made. This car constantly gives me engine problems. If you are looking to buy this car, save yourself the trouble.

Constant Maintenance

I have had to bring this car in at least once a year due to problems out of my control. Phenomenal placement of the oil filter so that's something one can do themselves, but boy, gods help you for any of the various engine problems that come with this car.

Lemon

Not directly the cars fault more the dealership I purchased from. When it's up and running its a great little car. Good mileage sporty. Just has mechanical issues. Is kinda difficult to work on. But it's enjoyable to drive.

Junk

Let’s see…Blown head gasket, cracked head, various coolant hoses replaced, coolant temp sensors replaced, thermostat replaced, broken lug nut studs replaced, turbo insufficient boost code currently shown. Other than that it’s been fine. Nothing but Toyota for my family from now on.

Poor

Worst car i have ever owned. In repair shop all the time. Body is rusted out. Has had engine replaced at 80000 miles. Hard for older people to get in and out of. GM should be forced to recall every one of these. Had i googled the car before purchase, i would not have bought it. Dealer also would not stand behind the car either. Buyer beware. Unless you like repair shops. Dont buy one of these.

Chevy

Well it's not a Ford for sure. The car, if you want practical and slow, it's for you....turbo, no, this car doesn't know the meaning of turbo. It is slow, cheaply made and I am not impressed. Oh and if it's cold out the steering wheel sticks and makes it look like your driving drunk. Do not like or recommend this car to anyone. Just....what...get a Toyota or Ford.

Not meant for the long haul

Love the design and features, but have had many problems since purchasing. Constantly have some sort of issue which after the 100,000 mile drivetrain warranty is over, has cost me quite a bit to keep it on the road.

Plastic Parts = Poor Quality

After fixing the valve cover 4 times, the water outlet twice, and numerous thermostat/hoses/pumps, Youd think I’d be over 200k. Sadly, haven’t even hit 130k miles... don’t know if I’ll ever see 150k at the rate of the repairs needed to maintain the car.

The Chevy Cruze is a cheap car and with that there are many flaws due to lower quality parts used to meet the price point. An alright car for appearance and function, just be prepared for above normal number of repairs.

2014 Chevy Cruze

The car is awesome but to only have a trunk operation on the remote key and no where else in the car is ridicolous. Plus if I want the Windows locked the front passenger can still be opened. On the basic model, there is no cruise control either.

a few problems

I love the way my car looks and I like the finishes. I have just had to have it back at the dealer twice since I bought it less than a year ago. Luckily both problems were under warranty, but it has been a little bit of a hassle. I have a 140 mile commute to work everyday, so I bought this car expecting reliability.

under powered

the Chevrolet Cruze drives nice and gets good fuel mileage and looks good. It struggles in winter driving conditions and is under powered for passing on two lane roads and climbing hills. I'm looking to upgrade.

I was disappointed to find it di not have Sirius XM. I assumed too much. It's a little noisy around the windows - wind sounds, etc. I have has a sensor replaces already - afrer just a few months. It caused the car to lose power and would have been disasterous had I been on a freeway. Now the clutch is having problems aswell. I am disappointed because I have had two other Cruzes before and they were problem-free...

I bought the new Cruze because of my past experience with the model, but from the beginning it has not measured up to the others. There was no SiriusXM with the car and is missing many of the features I had been accustomed to with the Cruze. Had I been made aware of these shortcomings I would have purchased another model.

I thought the mileage was going to be better and things that should be covered under the extended warranty i paid alot for still arent covered and these are motorized parts or AC parts. Very disappointed!

Good car poor reliability

Are Chevy Cruze stood out when we purchased it for being high quality sturdy construction and having many features only available on much more expensive cars. This has been true throughout our ownership however the build quality and reliability of the car is nowhere near the quality of either are our Mazda or my Kia. In just over 40000 MI we have had to have 3 recalls including one for the entire steering system I had to replace the intake manifold outside of warranty a window regulator and other unscheduled service visits.

2014 chevy Cruze

At 1st had all kinds of electrical problems. Replaced thermostat (leaky plastic) 5x. Oil pan. Battery 2x. Headlights. All I. 1st 3 yrs. Fair gas mileage. Original tires didn't last long. Probably not worth the money unless you buy it out right cash money.
