Vehicle runs 100,,%

The check engine light was due to a faulty O2 sensor I found out later that that was not the case but I went and had the catalytic converter replaced in the driver side axle which I was told was okay when I bought the car due to the repairs that I had done the car runs 100% better than when I first bought it

Heads up

The ‘13 Equinox has notorious oil intake issues. If you don’t constantly add oil you will do serious damage to the engine. Get rid of this headache of a car while you can. Otherwise you’ll end up needing a new engine or a new car.

Over all this vehicle is solid its good on gas and handles well, ive had this vehicle a little over a year and it never gave me problems other than regular wear and tear very satisfied with this suv over all.

Good for running around town. On the road, the 4 cylinder is a bit under powered but acceptable. Rides nice and interior gauges are easy to read. Comfortable seating for 5.

Good sound vehicle fir suburban driving or running around town. A bit underpowered for the highway. When entering the interstate it takes a bit of time to get to speed. It gets relatively good gas mileage in town and on the road. Smooth ride, comfortable for the money.

Family used and owner is retired.

Even though my Equinox is 8 years old, it is a great family used automobile and has been very dependable. It is used for day to day driving and also for long vacations, such as two month vacations to Alabama. It is big enough to carry plenty of luggage. We love it.

Blind spots

Overall, I enjoy driving the Equinox. However, it has many blind spots despite having a backup camera. Also doesn't seem to handle in the snow as well as my old vehicle did. It seems to slide a bit more.

Love at First Site

I’m not tech savvy but I can tell you from the moment the sales rep showed it to me and we went for a drive I was in Love! Every time I switch vehicles when I may need service done I fall in love all over again when I get back in it. I bought it used a 2013 with low mileage in 2017. she runs fantastic and I’d buy another all over again when this one gets too old. I do regular maintenance and probably don’t wash it enough as it’s white but I’d definitely recommend. Gas mileage has been great extra side mirror we’re a plus hope they come back with this style in new models.

Chevy Equinox

We have enjoyed our Equinox for five years. It is comfortable and reliable. There were two minor recalls that were taken care of by Murdock Chevrolet. It is not as good in the snow that I would like. I'm sure an AWD version would be better.

Good little suv

Engine not as big as I'd like but good on gas. Interior is ok. Air flow/drag when windows are down is hard on your ears. Control panel is nice and gives off a nice glow at night. All in all a good little SUV. Just wish it was a 6 cylinder not a 4.

I’m done with having to repair this car

I paid off my car and I wouldn’t know it bc I’m still having to do hundreds (and this year thousands!) of dollars of repair on a 2013 Chevy Equinox with less than 80,000 miles on it. One more repair and I’m trading this bitch in.

best vehicle ever owned

This is the best car I have ever owned. It is reliable, beautiful, and comfortable. The gas mileage is great. I bought this as a used car 3 years ago and have loved it ever since. I have had a couple minor things fixed, but overall the maintenance is very budget friendly.

Wish I had never bought it.

I have had nothing but trouble from this car. It is only 5 years old and it now needs $4000-$7000 worth of work! It has always burned through oil super fast. Not sure I will every buy a Chevy again. The only thing I love about this car is the sun roof.

Equinox

Love my 2013 equinox but a cracked exhaust manifold at 70K seems premature . Mileages are great both highway and city (4cyl) but engine sounds like an old diesel at idle. Flaking paint and rust at bottom inside 3 doors indicate water not escaping inside door. Or maybe shouldn’t be there in the first place. No rust on entire exterior surface

Love my equinox. Very dependable , cost effective . Drives nice, and for a 4 calender, has got a good get up and go. Good gas mileage . Never any serious maintaince issues. Drives very well in the snow and ice.

I'm trying to like this car simply because I bought it

Purchasing a car has never been easy for me. This car is no different. To be honest however, I did have a Subaru and Toyota prior to this Chevy. This car has shockingly has issues since I purchased it used. One issue is very low to the ground. Only seven and a half inch clearance. For as much as Equinox is, it should have a higher ground clearance to Simply accommodate the weight it carries.

Like my car. Had it for less than a year. Old thing I don't like is the special dextos oil I needs. And it seems to burn oil quickly. Still quality. Good running car. Special features make it better!!
