Car is 22 years old still runs great.

This car runs like a car half its age. I inherited this vehicle and initially thought it was ugly and wasn't really into it. It's grown on me a lot. It gives a more quiet and comfortable ride than some much newer cars I've ridden in. Everything in it still works even 22 years later. I really can't say anything negative about it. It's not the most stylish car but it's been very reliable and I'm happy with it.

She's 22 years old and still a champ.

I inherited this vehicle from my grandmother when she passed. Little old ladies don't drive very much so the car is 22 years old but only has 62,000 miles and has been taken care of and garaged. It runs and drives nice. It's a bigger car than what I'd normally pick but it is roomy, comfortable, and the gas mileage ends up being better than I had expected. For an old car it's surprising me how good it is (knock on wood). I'm curious to see how many years she's got left...with such low mileage it's really tough to guess. Fingers crossed 🤞. I also used to drive my ex's 2005 Impala a lot. He abused that car something fierce and it never let him down. He eventually crashed it otherwise it'd probably still be on the road too. I wasn't a huge Chevy person but the Impala seems to be a really decent car.

Verified Review

The transmission sensor apparently, is very important.

Had a recall for one engine top cover to be removed and valve cover gasket replaced by the Chevy dealership . They only removed the cover. Now I only go to Central service Center. Service I can trust.

My First Chevrolet

Purchased 2001 Impala LS in 2011 as alternate car for long road trips. Both very roomy and comfortable, as well as fast and fuel efficient (up to 32 mpg on trip from TN to NM and CO. Excellent running condition after 20 years and 130K miles.

2001 Chevy Impala

If I could keep my fire engine red Impala forever, I would! Good styling and interior comfort. 6 cylinder engine very efficient and power there when needed. Smooth ride. Plenty of space, leg room and trunk space. Seats lie flat when needing car for carrying large items. Motorized drivers seat. Head rests. Sun roof and spoiler, air conditioning. Cruise control, good loud horn. Good gas mileage for mid size car.

Great Used Car With Few Problems

I saw this car on a lot in 2009. Along with 50+ cars and said this is the one. This is the only one i wanted to test drive. Its given me great service. I've had Ford Cars before and had heard so much about Chevy cars i was curious to find out how great they could be. Still has a lot of its original parts. Had a problem with two tires and they told me those were the original tires i had to get replaced.Previous owner was apparently a little old lady that didn't drive around much. Well its been giving me good service. Oil changes and tuneups keeps her running good. I don't know for how long but i hope she hangs in there. I'm retired now so we're growing old together. Its a great car.

I have had my Impala since 2001 and it has been a great car. I have it serviced at the Chevy place in the beginning. Now I have Middleton Auto service it. I have enjoyed this 2001 Impala all these years.1

My 2001 RED HOT Impala Maintenance

I have a new blower motor and had my air conditioning on all the way home!! My windshield wipers are no longer stuck like hockey sticks on the windshield. They go down and stay down when I turn them off!!

I have had my Impala since 2001. It is still in good condition. I have all of my repairs papers since that date. It has been a good service car, one that I have been able to relay on each and every day since day!

2001 chev

I bought my car in 2001, making it 18 years of good 'sailing' with it. Could not expect any more from this car. I keep it service when it is due and have made the few repairs during that time. I do love my car and enjoy the smooth ride!!!

2001 Chevy Impala still running thanks to Browncroft Garage.

I have a 17 year old Chevy Impala and have been taking it to Browncroft Garage for years. It still runs like a new car! I will more than likely get another Chevy Impala a year from now. I will continue to take it to Browncroft Garage for their excellent service. They are very fair, explain what needs to be done and the pricing. They have a great web page with lots of information. I especially like the whole staff. They are friendly and knowledgeable in everything they do.

Great running vehicles

I own a 2001 Chevy impala which I have had since 2013. Very good car, never have had any real problems with it, and its a smooth ride everytime! She is reliable and easily fix when needed. I love my impala!

2001 Chevy Impala

I've had my 2001 impala since 2003. I bought it used with 19,000 miles on it. It's been a very good car and I would buy another one. It's comfortable and roomy inside. I like the look of the car and the color which is bright red. It drives smoothly, gets good gas mileage and I feel safe driving it.

Serviceable

This vehicle is over 16 years old and I have never had a major problem with it's daily performance. Other then normal maintenance and normal wear and tear for a automobile that is as old as this one and has over 90,000 miles, I have no complaints. It was my company's leased business car and when I retired I was able to purchase it from the leasing company and that has proved to be one of my best business decisions.

2001 impala

Am second owner and have used the car as my primary vehicle in traveling to athletic events. Drive and handles very well. Pleasantly surprised with the fuel economy, getting about 3 MPG than the rating. Have the LT version with leather..very comfortable. With now over 120,000 miles have repaired the front ball joints,and replaced the catalytic convertor as major items.
