Impala

Would not buy this car again. Replaced transmission twice now @ 160k miles. Although comfortable and roomy the car has poor gas mileage. Very poor quality when it comes to the drivetrain. ............

frustrated at times, in the shop 4 times with same throttle probem.

I would'nt let my wife take it on a trip alone due to periodic throttle problems.

great when they work

Had many Impalas - terrific car for the money - but recent tranny problems led me to finding out that tranny problems are endemic to this vehicle, even tho this one is the only one of mine that suffered from tran problems at 30k miles

2008 chevy

Good dependable vehicle. Unhappy that rest door actuators failed after initial warranty expired. Also unhappy with actuators in heating mechanism. When switching from heat to A.C. loud banging sound for five minutes. Otherwise good car.

Fair overall

197,000 miles , nearly everything mechanical replaced. Best performance using Flex fuel, does cost more considering 1/3 less mpg and stations typically only 20% less at pump than regular. Performance at performance prices, including performance insurance.

temp. control damper's & switches

twice in last 2 yrs. I had problems w/the temp. damper control..chevy fixed the problem at a high cost to me, should have gone to my local mechanic to get the work repaired at 1/2 the price..could have saved $350.00..know better next time!!

Impala

It has been a reliable car and one I trust for my kids to drive. It has about 82000 miles now and has only needed a new alternator. It is large enough to carry lots of luggage. Good pick up.

PRO'S and CONS of my 2008 Chevrolet Impala

My 2008 chevrolet impala was purchased in 2011 as a certified pre-owned vehicle. It came with two year maintenance service for oil changes every 7,000 miles. Just like other vehicles there are going to be problems through your ownership. The automatic lock in the rear right side of the vehicle has not functioned properly since purchasing the vehicle. The headlights and turn signals are a ongoing problem from time to time. Other than regular maintenance for the most part this vehicle has performed very well on vacations. .

My impala

Love my Impala. Have had it 4 1/2 hrs. It is a 2008. Never had any major issues just maintenance issues like oil changes, tires soon brakes. Has power when needed. Good turning ratio parking. I feel will be the last car needed in my lifetime.

2007 Impala SS

I enjoy my SS but lacks a sport suspension, interior is boring, steep poor but performance for the price is good. Trunk space is huge. The battery is in a tight spot and requires some patience to remove.

2008 IMPALA

I purchased this vehicle from a relative at a very low price, so I have gotten my money out of it...Now it is starting to cost too much to maintain, however I would trade for an other Impala it is a very comfortable car and drives and handles well.

Really comfortable!

I bought this car with 132,000 miles on it. Was in great shape, but needed tlc. Oil change, spark plugs, sway bar and a small mechanism in the dash that regulates the fans. Running GREAT! Love the car. Would like to see better gas mileage, only averaging 25 mpg.

I love my Impala

Reliable, comfortable, good gas mileage, with a lot of get up and go. I've put 110,000 miles on my Impala and have enjoyed every single mile with no problems, other than normal maintenance. My next car purchase will be an Impala.
