2005 Malibu

Not my car of choice...Thought it would be a good purchase at a local dealership because of low mileage. Dealership was looking only for sale-didnt take into consideration my needs or situation......was taken advantage of... and now have a car I dislike more than any car I have ever owned

Mystery Electrical Problem

I am experiencing a problem with my Malibu Maxx that has me very frustrated. Some time ago I noticed that the hatch or lift gate would unlock when I opened the passenger side door. Also the unlock button on the gate itself doesn't work any more. The gate button on the driver's door and the remote button still will unlock the gate, but the gate now sometimes comes unlocked if I open either rear door, turn off the ignition or even bump the side of the console with my leg. What's going on? Unfortunately, when I took the car to the dealer to have them investigate it, THE PROBLEM WOULDN'T HAPPEN!!

Electrical issues galore!

This car has been good, but the electrical issue have never stopped. Everything electrical seem sot fail. The fuses, the sensors etc. Even the lights were shorting out. This has been a regular source of frustration

Malibu has served me well

Love the Malibu, but I feel they rushed making it

A few recalls on my car in the steering, cruise control and something else? The seat broke and instead of fixing the part that broke, you had to get the whole seat replaced because they don't make just that one part. I have microfiber/suede on the middle part of the tan seat... whenever ANY water or liquid gets on it it stains... biggest downfall to the car actually.

The 2005 Malibu was good, although sometimes when it’s parked on an incline for short time it’s hard to start! Chevy needs to offer 10 year warranties on all cars!

I love my car.

I am so happy with this car. It drives well gets great gas mileage. Lots of room being able to fold down back seats to trunk area. Love it! Designed efficiently. Comfortable interior. Owners manual is very helpful.

Love this car!

Really like the handling and performance of my Malibu. And with the driver's/ owner's manual I at 60 years young and female was able to replace a burned out headlight. My drivers seat is stuck back due to something caught in the rail. Luckily my pedals move towards me or else I couldn't drive it. Going to have to YouTube how to take seat out as soon as I get a bored minute.

Its a great car.

We've had it almost eleven years and have had very little trouble with it. It gets about 30 mpg and we have about 65000. miles.

She keeps going and going and go . . . .

My 2005 Chevy Malibu Maxx has been cross country numerous times and still drives well. Even with so much work that needs to be done on her, my Barbie is very reliable and has never failed me.

Excellent vehicle-2005 Chevrolet Malibu

My vehicle has been the BEST since the day I drove it off the dealership's lot. Regular maintenance has kept it in top running condition. No major problems to date. Chevrolet has always been by auto of choice. Two times I strayed (briefly when I purchased two others), but I went back to the most dependable vehicle I could ever own. Chevy is our families car "forever"!

Love my Malibu

It's getting on in years but still fun to drive, gets good mileage and has met my needs all these years. With Chuck's on Main help, I plan to keep it a while longer.
