Reliable Transportation

I have always had Chevys and I love my Malibu. Roomy, Comfortable, Reliable Transportation. Easily fits 5 people; roomy trunk space. Gets decent gas mileage and with regular maintainance, serves me well.

Tin foil

Odd engineering! Poor serviceablity of some components. Good handling. Good performance. Transmission weak due to poor quality internal component. Based on previous experience with poor quality GM products won’t buy again.

Except for headlights, its been a good car... I enjoy the mid siz 4 fore

Except for headlights, its been a good car... I enjoy the mid siz 4 wish they has been easier to change and the low beam lasted. I've been running on Hi beans for a couple years now, going on 3. They will not stay fixed and I can't afford to keep trying. But I have the Hi beans ?

Malibu

I love my car. I’ve had it about 7 years, never had a real issue with it, it’s been extremely dependable. I’ve only had to do general maintenance on it. Couldn’t have found a better vehicle. I love driving my Malibu.

Not Bad

There are some definitions general motors should make recalls on. Guitar overall has been a great car! The defiance of the big car makers that refused to fix the problems they know are problematic are going to come back to haunt them!

My Malibu has been a good car and no ttrouble. No big problems in the 10 years that I have owned it. It still looks good and no big mechanical problems. I would buy another Malibu but I hope this is my last car.

Pretty Good

We have had this Malibu about 6 years now. The overall performance is very good. But, it really performs poorly in snow. I have fairly new tires,and in the winter,it still slides. If snow is about 2 inches on the roads,at traffic lights,it will skid when I start out. Going up a little incline to enter a parking lot is also tricky. The heated seats are my favorite heater feature. When I first start out in winter I put the heated seat on,it relaxes your muscles and warms you gently. So with the heated seats,and the car heater,you get warm from the front and back.

Wonderful Vehicle!!!

I really like my car, I bought it new back in 2009 and I haven't had any major problems or issues. My philosophy is, you take of your car it will take care of you!!!!! My car is roomy, it's comfortable and it's quite reliable!

A comfortable, dependable and responsive ride through the years

We have been extremely pleased with the comfort, road-hugging, dependable, and responsive ride over the years. Over the past almost 9 years of ownership, the Malibu 2LT is as stylish and "looking modern" with the evolving designs of the market. As with all vehicles, it's important to maintain it properly.

My 2009 Chevy Malibu gets me where I wanna go! Day in & day out she has been with me going on my 8th year. Always starts & always stops when I want her to! She's kinda like my best friend. Lol I would strong recommend a Chevy Malibu to anyone.

Malibu a very good looking and easy to drive car.

This is a very easy car to drive, and had very little problems until recently. The car was carrying lots of mileage when we purchased it, in 2 010. I just like my car, and hope to keep it for another year or two.

Love this car...very dependable. This car will last forever. Change oil every 3,000-4,000 miles religiously and it’ll purr beyond 200,000 miles. It’s all you need to do for oil.

2009 Chevrolet Malibu

Just had to have the transmission replaced. Not a pleasant experience with GM. The care has a little under 55,000 miles on it. Were told by dealer to contact General Motors which we did. GM said contact dealer, which we did again, who sent us to their transmission outsource because they do not have a transmission mechanic on staff. Transmission was replaced. We paid. Called to see if GM would provide any help. No, because we had paid the bill before getting back with them. Typical run-around by American auto dealers. Will never buy American again.

My car (Jake) is my life, Without the excellent service I've enjoyed at Stewart Auto Service the old boy wouldn't run as well as he does. Over 50M miles and still runs as good as when it was new.
