The best car

Not a lot of problems. The best vehicle ever on the road. But that's what you get from a Chevy. My always go to car. I feel like royalty Everytime I get into my car. I'll keep it always. Monte Carlo SS

Chevy monte carlo

First owner of 2003 Jeff Gordon monte carlo . Great car to drive . Overall comfortable car to drive . This car is a front wheel drive vehicle . Normal wear and tear . But this line of Chevy monte carlo's does over heat , which causes damage to the engine . There are several recommendations, flushing out coolant system . To an over system check of all components of cooling fans including fuses.

Sports Car

I enjoy driving my Monte Carlo locally and on the freeway. For a 2003, it handles well on the road. Drives smoothly and the drive is comfortable. Compared to the CR-V and Lincoln Town cars that I've had. The Monte Carlo has better steering on the road.

I’m still as in love with it as I was the day I drove it off the lot in May ‘03.

I’m my opinion Chevrolet made a grave mistake discontinuing the Monte Carlo. It’s a beautiful car with a beautiful ride and handling. I’m so glad I bought when I did. I used to have a ‘79 Camaro I bought new. I loved that car and would give anything to have it back but my Monte Carlo has more than filled the void. It’s fun to drive and I still think it’s the most beautiful car in town. I’m very proud of my SS.

Not customer oriented

Ever since NEW the driver seat belt did NOT retract. I mentioned this EVERY time I took the car in for service and all they did was squirt some oil into it. NOT the problem. I feel it is a defective retractor, but they did NOT want to remove the body panel go get at it and put in a NEW part to fix the problem therfore I have had to live with the problem all these years. NOT very customer respectful. I guess they do not care about repeat customers.

I love my car...

This vehicle has been the best of all of the Monte Carlos I have ever had... I have only owned and driven Monte Carlos for 39 years. Need a new one.....
