Beware!!! Compromised Frame

Bought my truck 2 years ago. At present I still owe 10K. Took truck in for inspection and was told the frame is soft. My mechanic further explained to me that these trucks are notorious for having this issue. It is unfathomable to owe so much money on a vehicle that won't pass inspection. Currently looking into having the frame welded to pass inspection. Seriously ridiculous.

Good Ol work horse

Reliable good workhorse I love this truck strong it’s not no slouch at all. Sitting at 230,000 miles I feel like I can go anywhere with this truck. This is the Third Chevy I’ve had. The 2500 is good for towing. But the half ton is just right if you need to carry tools around maybe a couple employees. It’s stylish and reliable they could have done better with certain features like the AFM. The hubs are horrible as well but after that’s pretty much a strong solid truck. As long as you keep your oil changed and spark plugs fresh you’ll have a strong running motor. The main seal is also one thing you want to look at.

Chevy Strong

This vehicle has 116k and runs like a top. Always used synthetic oil and it had been serviced regularly. Had a problem with low beam headlight and had to replace transmission lines. Normal maintenance should be expected, but never appreciated. Such is life!!

My opinion

10 years and 200,000 miles. Product is dependable. Manufacturer decision to Decontent is disapointing. The Variable Desplacement 4 cylinder into 8 cylinder has been a problem that General Motors should be held responsible for.

Works like a truck drives like a fine car

Got a lot of use both personal and work driving with maintenance oil changes, tires, shocks, front brakes all good only a few Minor issues With electrical problems headlights repair last year and taillights repair done recently no complaints.

Chevy Silverado rides smooth.

It's a very nice truck. Nicer than I thought it would be. Great AC, good millage, great steering, nice looks I've had other Trucks before but never a Chevy. I definitely will be buying a newer model in the future.

It’s the 3 rd one I have had .

This is my third Chevy 1500 and other than minor things they have all been great trucks.I have always had the 5.3 V8 and those LS motors are bullet proof .I always get the 4x4 with a automatic and I must say they like gasoline. I average a little over 17 mpg but it’s a crew cab with 20 inch tires .

My 2010 Silverado LTZ Pickup

I purchased this pickup in a lightly used condition (only 17,500 miles on the odometer) in November 2016. This pickup replaced a 1996 Chevrolet K1500 pickup I owned since new and with 287K miles on its clock. This "new" pickup meets all my needs and the updated bells and whistles (2010 over a 1996) are nice. I owned my last pickup for 20 years and I can easily see keeping this current pickup for 20 years!

Chevy truck 2010

Have driven and owned ford and dodge trucks for many years along with Chevy trucks. Looking at the big picture the Chevy trucks are more reliable , more cost efficient , take more abuse , take less up keep then all the rest. I’m sure some people can say the same about other vehicles. But most of my friends that I talked to have said they wished they had bought a Chevy instead

Silverado 1500 4X4 Z71

Great truck. No major repairs. Will drive up any mountain. Comfortable ride. Roomy for the kids. Feel so much safer in than a little car! Can haul anything. Friends always asking to haul stuff is the only downfall of owning a truck. But it's worth the free pizza and beer! Great dependable truck!

I love the truck! I like the people I bought it from. It is all I wanted and more. I have a great mechanic that knows everything about the truck. Driving the truck I could almost go to sleep. The bed is lined and has a hard cover. Couldnt want anything more. Thank You !

2010 Silverado

Bought my truck from Stephens 4 or 5 years ago. I can truthfully say that over those years I have had nothing but great experiences from it ! It seems to go one forever. I now have 148,000+ miles on it and NO rust & NO major problems. Change oil every 3,000 miles or so, new tires and it keeps on running smooth. Love it ! Best MPG too 21 MPG highway.
