Terrific Vehicle

This van has served me in many ways....long distance trips with plenty of space to accommodate passengers as well as luggage, taking up to six friends on jaunts to fun places, and finally, loads of room to haul groceries and whatever else needs to be accommodated.

Good family car and easy to slide in and out off. You don't have to climb out of a car. This vechile is on a truck frame, so it handles real well on snowy roads, becaue it sits off the ground higher.

I'm going to miss this van, because they no longer make this style. easy access for kids and large cargo area. Not that we plan on getting rid of it. We have had good luck.

Love My Van

Bought the Uplander in 2009 with approximately 12,000 mi. Since then, it has been0n many extended trips with no problems. The size is excellent for my lifestyle. I can be the "designated" drive for friends and family. One "long" trip to GA accommodated 4 adults and 2 "large" children and all their luggage! The only downside is no armrests on the middle seats. If the seatbelt is not on, one could fall off! But of course I insist on seatbelts!

Really enjoyed my van, but now it is time to put it to bed. it served me well, until the transmission gave out at 151000, miles.

She may be old but she’s a Chevy and doesn’t feel it!

I bought this vehicle to accommodate my two Lab dogs. We liked going hiking and swimming. This vehicle has plenty of room for them, their toys, and camping equipment. Also my dogs loved going for rides and would bark if I didn’t go fast for them. My 2008 Chevy van has a V-6 engine and still has that get up and go. She’s my van until one of us bites the dust!

Has lots of problems

The Uplander has so many issues from the door handle cover on the inside breaking twice to the doors not automatically opening. The gauge for the gas doesn't show accurately the amount of gas and the automatic door lock will lock whenever it wants.
